I think I have decided to use the extra cash to make payments in addition to my dmp! Can I ask what F&F means?!

I have often thought about saving and paying in chunks? Is this a good way to do it?!

Thank u for all the welcomes! Great thread too :-!

Of course we will give every new joiner a warm ... if poor ... welcome. More of us to chuck ideas around and just simply vent to. I love the support you get from the guys here. It helps to know you are not alone.:o

Don't you just hate it when one of your creditors have rang whilst your out and left a message on the answerphone. You don't know if they are ringing to help or pester, probably the latter but I have a letter from them agreeing reduced payments until June 2011. I have my mortgage with this company so it may be mortgage related.

Guess I will have to wait. Anyone out there been called by NRAM?

    Hi

    Just bumping the thread really.

    Nothing much happening money wise.

Still skint but happy and dreaming of debt free days in the sun.

My mum said to me this weekend, as I was a bit down about things, "all you have to do is pay it back, your not ill, your not going to die, your just potless" hahahahahaha. Brilliant.

I might ask for that on my gravestone. Here lies E2, he was potless.

    Oi! Santander

Stop sending me letters telling me i'm in arrears and you have been approached by a 3rd party regarding the situation.

I know all this so please save the cost of postage.

  • Morning folks

E2, your Mum sounds like a wise woman!

Spring morning is making me feel optimistic.

May even have to treat myself to some spring bedding plants in Aldi!

Have set myself a challenge for the month to try to use from freezer and cupboards and be creative! Also like to do some other clearing and tidying. Well that's the plan at least, let's see.

Hope everyone set for a good weekend.

    Hi

I know your probably thinking i'm taking the mick here but..

I've had yet another default from Santander and a letter telling me my Credit rating will be seriously harmed.

it really is astonishing how inept the institution is.

my OH has just said I should send them all back to Santander and ask them to explain what on earth they think they are playing it.

Hello there, a full and final settlement is an amount of money you offer the creditor to clear the debt completely,

    OIC.

    Cheers for that.

  • Well I hope I haven't awoken the angry beast but I sent off the letter today asking them to reconsider stopping all interest. They have now received 12 months DMP money. They have a month to reply before my AR with Payplan so might ask if we can reduce their payment if they say no.
