Without a paddle... support for anyone starting a DMP in 2010 (part2)

Hi there
I am relatively new to this so please bear with me!
I am after a little advice. My income has reduced due to less hours therefore cant make the minimum payments. I was about to enter into a DMP with Payplan but after reading some posts on the forum I heard about the DAS Scheme which is available to people in Scotland (which is where I am). As you can only enter into a DAS Scheme via money advisor I contacted CAB where my nearest one was based. Have now had two appts at CAB, gave them all my paperwork etc and now waiting an appt with the money advisor. I thought things would move a little faster but it seems not! A lot of others in my position calling on help too.:o
I have written to all my creditors (7 in total, and made half of the minimum payment this month), some have since phoned me, some I have yet to hear from. I have had a couple of default notices but of the ones I have spoke to they have been quite helpful and now ask for a SOA. I did do one for CAB but obviously I am going to have to wait to see when I get another appt. In the meantime I feel I will have to provide this sooner rather than later. Can anyone tell me....do you put down all your outstanding creditors and amounts on this so they can all see what you owe? All my debts are CC's and one catalogue. Also do you have to give them the value of your property and outstanding mortgage details or is your monthly payment enough.
It is all very daunting but I know I am doing the right thing dealing with this instead of burying my head in the sand. At the moment until I see CAB again I am doing all this myself. Can anyone give advice as to whether this is a good idea or not? John Lewis and Creation Finance both seemed to be okay about what my payment suggestion was but want a SOA for confirmation. Should I continue to try and agree or wait for more guidance from CAB. I decided to change my home phone no. to ex-directory before any creditors started chasing me - sneaky I know, but they can only me via mobile or letter which is a little light relief in the circumstance.
Sorry to be rambling on but any help or advice would be sooooo much appreciated. It all feels like a bit of a mind field out there!!!!
Thanks in anticipation

Really struggling this month another week until pay day hope October will be better but a least not reaching for the credit cards to get by.

Evening all
Got a letter today about my first CCCS review. Anybody else had one, and how did it go, what to expect, etc, etc.
I hope they don't change anything i'm getting used to this budget now and find life quite straightforward, if a little basic at times, but its much better. In fact you could say I like having the control of a budget I have to stick to. Makes life interesting.

Just a quick hello - hugs and hope all's ok with everyone - want to catch up- but blimey this part time work's taking over everything, honestly eating the day up. Missed you all lots but working and being out of the house certainly helps avoidance of dmp stress, especially when you've to lock your phone away in a cupboard!??DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -
Hello
Just had my CCCS review, my payment has gone up slightly but that means my DFD has come down by two months.
I will have to budget slightly better I think but i'm pretty pleased with that. As long as the dreaded creditors play ball that is.........
Hows life for everyone in DMP land?

Fish are fine, I was worried about them being snatched by the dastardly Mackenzie Hall as these are two ive managed to keep alive for more than a month!
I think CCCS might do another review in 6 months but the nice person on the other end of the phone (they are lovely at CCCS) said its always best to try and pay more every year. So i'm not 100% sure.
The budget was changed as i'd over stated a couple of items and understated some others, by the time we'd finished it came out that I could pay more so I thought why not.
Soooooo, onwards and upwards to the NEXT problem, cos i'm sure one will raise its head before long. I'm still waiting for MH to be difficult but they have gone quiet again. They must be scared of me.
