    The actual wording is

'Our clients have informed us that they are unaware of any legitimate reason for non-payment of their account and although they would prefer an amicable settlement will not hesitate to commence Legal Proceedings if necessary.'
Actually it sounds even more scary reading it again.

Now that is nothing to worry about, they are trying to scare you (and suceeding by the sounds of it).

Well, don't let them. Time to fight the good fight and get writing letters tomorrow for posting Monday.

To BCW let them know you are on a DMP, the PO or BOI probably havent informed of them of this and they are playing the usual scary mary tactics.

Complain officially to the BOI and the PO, they HAVE to take your complaint seriously. Maybe you could doctor Mikons legal extravaganza (which is just superb)?

Anyway, don't let them grind you down. At the very worst you could get a CCJ, which we are all in danger of getting ultimately, but its very very unlikely to happen as BCW know how ridiculous they will look in front of a judge trying to explain why they have taken someone to court who is trying there best to sort it out.

Chin up me dear, and get writing those letters. It will make you feel loads better.

  • Hi all, hope you are all well. CCCS paid the first installment to the creditors yesterday, most have already accepted have so far had no problems....fingers crossed it continues. Managing fine on the budget, we've never lived so well and guilt free!!!

Anyway wanted to ask has anyone had trouble getting a mobile phone contract. My deal is up soon and the company I am with dont seem to be giving any good deals out now so may be looking to switch companies and just a bit worried that I might not be able to with the DMP, any advice very welcome.

    Thanks

    Hello

Just had my CCCS review, my payment has gone up slightly but that means my DFD has come down by two months.

I will have to budget slightly better I think but i'm pretty pleased with that. As long as the dreaded creditors play ball that is.........

Hows life for everyone in DMP land?

    E2

    Nice one E2,

2 months down is great. Not long until i get review i assume? I would not like to pay them too much more as really want to get those F&F's saved up.

Hows everyone else hi Mamajo:hello: nice to see you drop by.

Hi Andy glad dmp is going well and the budget is settling down.

Hi :hello: Gibbs, Mikon, Teds, PPP and all, not much happening here. Mum and sister are visiting but proving a little difficult to stay in budget trying to do just beach and eat at home tough but fine. My little budget book of in and out is still going well. I must go and write in it now actually.

Just a quick one Prof P, would you mind who is letting us know who is offering F&F's (which creditor they came from) i'm becoming slightly obsessed with F&F's

TTFN for now, sending you some sunshine back to the UK.

    Hi LoubyLou,

Try not to worry about i know that is so much easier said than done. But note the 2 veryimportant words in the paragraph

'if necessary' As peeps have said its scare tactics. Just go all guns blazing to sort it out tm morning.

Any probs give us a shout, especially with Mikon all gen'd up on here now.

Big hugs to you and all G x
  • hi anybody?

l am trying to find a DMP can any body advise me where i should apply?
  • :jHi Manzie123

Try the CCCS who are really good, helpful and understanding and not judgemental I have been with them for 2 months now, you will have to do some of the legwork yourself like writting to creditors, but the CCCS will send you all the info and letters you need to send.

    Good luck

Pay plan are also a free DMP provider. The fact you are asking here will at least mean you won't be tempted to pay a company. I think you can try entering your details to both CCCS and Pay Plan online. Good luck on your light bulb moment.:T

    Hi

As has been said already. CCCS or Payplan are lifesavers. I'm not sure if there is a massive difference between the two so its who you feel most comfortable with. All DMPers seem happy whichever way they swing (so to speak!)
