I had a letter from MBNA saying they were accepting the DMP and reduced payment amount through CCCS.
That was yesterday.
Today.
I had a letter from CCCS saying that MBNA had refused their offer of payment as it was too low (same amount as the MBNA letter).
Nevermind, I will carry on regardless. CCCS said to ignore them anyway and they will just pay the offererd amount.
I think MBNA are doing this just to wind me up.
This is very normal MBNA I have gathered, same happened to both DH and myself, and seen it in other peoples posts and when I phoned CCCS about another one of my creditors doing the same thing they said that's unusal its usually mbna! Both letters came on the same day for us both. They'll have accepted! I'm thinking as long as the interest says zero they can send me any letters they like!DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -

Mama, losing track, have all your creditors now frozen interest?
We are having trouble with Santandurrr, say they have and will but haven't yet and should have done according to them on this months statement. Also two little ones Next and Vertbaudet £100 balances, looking back should have done tokens for another month to get rid of them - paying near the minimum or the minimum haven't either. But the 10 other biggies have at the moment! Are you stressing about yours Ted?DMP mutual support thread member 371LBM Jan 2010DMP Paddle No 20 -

Funny how these Banks operate. I contacted BC and told them of my situation and asked for my number to be removed from my accounts and not to contact me by phone and they agreed. They also put my account on hold no interest/charges for 30 days so that would give CCCS time to set up the DMP. They were very understanding and obliging. I even rang them again once I got my DMP ref No. and they logged my details and even told me that the system had been updated. If only everyone got this level of service. It obviously depends on who answers the phone but insist that your tel no is removed.
Keep your chin up together we will beat them.

LBM April 2010. DMP Start June 2010 - 11% of debt paid at June 11 to 11 creditors

Morning Everyone,
Not be online for a few days so still catching up with the threads. The past week has seen my postman working overtime the mail has been continuous.
Need an answer to a question.
Most of the creditors have said they will suspend my interest charges some said they would but have not 2 in particular
M & S Money & CITI CC. I owe Citi CC £12,000 and they have cashed my £1 token but charged me £386 interest and charges and now want a monthly minimum payment of £1424 next which is not payable so what will the charges be next month. M & S Money have charged interest also.
Question Will I be able to claim these charges back once the DMP is up and running? If not these type of charges/interest are compounding the problem. This is a big worry as the period of time it takes me pay off my debt.
Has anyone experienced these problems.
Any help much appreciated.
7 out of my 8 creditors have accepted my DMP almost immediately except Citi. They are at present claiming not to have received my offer from Payplan, in fact they say they have heard nothing at all from Payplan!!!
They are strange , very unpredictable.
On a positive note MBNA have accepted and immediately frozen all charges and interest, from reading other posts on here it would appear they are regularly doing this at the moment.
Awaiting news on interest from Egg and HBOS, some calls to make methinks next week.
Am not sure if you can claim back interest and charges before you start the DMP Mikon. I got clobbered on tokens as well, but £386 for one month is appalling and outrageous, speaking to Citi and the CCCS is all I can recommend.
PS, there are also issues with Citi's address, Payplan have them down as Salford Quays, whilst Citi told me they use a London address for their collections department, all very confusing!!! PPLBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.

Outrageous is an understatement. I am going to ring CCCS on Monday about CITI. The address I am writing to for CITI is
Citi Cards
CITI Financial Europe PLC
PO Box 49920
London
SE5 7ZF
They are thieving Ba*****s. I am thinking of reporting them to the FSA how do they expect people to get out of debt when they apply these type of charges.
