How old are you? because you come over as a teenager.
I'm with the love of my entire life, she is my life, but even I'm not stupid enough, to never say never.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

lol!!
thanks but i am nearly 30!!
there is a difference between stupid and never saying never. My point is more that at the time of getting married, you should be committed enough to be determined to spend thr whole rest of your life with someone. A lot of people get married because the think they are in love, these never work.
If you cannot say that you would rather cut off your finger than not be with your partner, then maybe you shouldn't be married to them!!
Just my ''immature'' opinion........:silenced:They Were Up In Arms wrote: »I think tabskitten is a crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living troll :cool:0 -
If you must have this done, and it is remarkably tacky, and statistics say you're pretty likely going to live to regret it, then get it done just on the inside (palm side) of your ring finger. That way you can see it, it will mean everything to you for as long as you're together - which by the way, I do hope is truely forever.
And if it turns out to not be a bed of roses, you can at least keep your hand clenched0 -

Maybe you want to find my ex husband who left me and his 5 year old daughter to recapture his youth and care free days and explain your wisdom to him then!!! 2.5 years ago I didn't think I would be in this situation but I am... people change. Lets hope your soon to be DH doesn't feel the same in 2 years time like my ex did... not having a go, just saying people change. Regardless of how committed you feel at the time. Some people handle life pressures, some don't. All I am saying is never say never.. and a tattoo on your ring finger will just be a constant reminder of what should had been.0 -
Good idea in theory but research tells me that in practise the palm side is the worst possible area to have a tattoo and one should only get the top and sides of the ring finger done.:):silenced:They Were Up In Arms wrote: »I think tabskitten is a crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living troll :cool:0

My ex wanted one too... perhaps I should had let him carry on and have it done now in hindsight.. it would had let all unsuspecting woman know that he was infact married.. or failing that he would now have to have laser surgery to have it removed which I heard can be painful. Hindsight is a wonderful thing to have.0 -
i can see it would look nice , but also it could look very tacky. all depends on how it is done. Something nice and danity on a female could look really nice
We got our wedding rings engraved with i love you and the wedding date( just so hubby woulnd't forgot the anniversary,lol)0 -

I've just googled them as I wasn't sure what they'd look like. I do like tattoo's, but I haven't found one of these that doesn't look awful yet.0
