Can you not have the ring on a chain around your neck?

That's what my OH wants to do as he just can't stand wearing anything on his fingers, but he still wants to keep it close because of the symbology of it.

If you go for a name rather than a pattern you need to see what it would look like. Try drawing it on and see how it looks.
I only say this because my friends husband has her name and to be honest it's quite difficult to read and doesn't look like name at all, probably because it's between two bands (lines of ink) IYKWIM.

Been ring shopping today and the thought occurred to me of ring tattoos,
I actually am quite anti tattoos but for some reason this seems quite nice.....

anyone ever seen or had one?

Its a nice idea all the time you are married... then what happens if you split up?

I would not be marrying someone if i had any intention of it not being forever, corny as that may sound that is my view on what wedlock should be. if i thought a tattoo would outlast us i would have given the engagement ring back the day it was given to me........

Thats what you get if you marry Jordan it would seem!:T

No one marries somebody if they don't think it will be forever!!! Things and people change; then you are left with a tattoo on your ring finger always reminding you of what was. My ex nearly had it done, my dad said to him what a stupid thing to do, say you ever got divorced, and guess what 2.5 years later we have split up. So lucky for him he never did.

We have decided on roman numerals of the date which would be:
    XXX.VI.MMX
my OH wants it on the ring finger, as do i but i am now wondering if better to get it elsewhere in case it fades.......

I feel really sad for anyone who marries someone then splits up - you obviously did not find the right person yet.

no tattooist will recommend this as it wears off in no time if a ring is worn over it , names are the worst fading to nothing in a couple of years

Wish that would happen to the name i have on my stomach of my ex, it's still as bright and bold as the day i had it done - 5 years ago!!
