morning toots, (always think of my great nephew who's 15 months when i write toots - we call him tootie am sure he thinks thats his name!) up early too have to get things ready for the PO and have docs again at 8.30.
Beautiful up at Monikie only thing is they dont let you take dogs round the reservoir there even on leads anymore so seldom go there, tend to go to Crombie as mad spaniel has a ball. weather not so good here today, so may actually get my ares in gear and get more things listed on ebay to make up for the money i spent last night.

NLID, Can you get a day work at the polling station, i know its only a dday or so but its always a weeks shopping you dont have to worry about and gives you more time to find a way of replacing lost business, just a thought

    catch up later

Thats a great idea - I will look into how I can do that!

    Morning all,
Just a quick one to say M.I.A this morning due to computer problems. Having some issues with windows xp so I can only boot the PC in safe mode which means that I have issues this morning. Working on it now so will catch up on all the dribble later.

Oh dear! hope you get it sorted hun :-) 'see' you later!

Good luck with the polling station thing NLID if you decide to do that. dont know if this will be something you are interested in but I do mystery shopping online with Edigital, evaluating websites/companies, with your webby knowledge it would take you a fraction of the time it takes me! I've been doing it for 2 months now and have earned £20 each month..peanuts I know but if its something you could do quickly its not to bad?

    Hi Mabel,

Right now its not about if im interested in doing it - it is simply a matter of will it bring in the income to allow me to rebuild this business around the ebaytools and other projects I have got - things are looking very bleak at the minute as to be honest, I have a niggle that another client is going to do the same - and that would leave me working any job I can get my hands on - which will most likely be shelfstacker at Asda on minimum wage, which we simply financially wouldnt be able to afford to eat with our current commitments.

Good Luck Nikki! What bugs me is the EA / FA / Conveyancer all take there time when you want to get it now!

    good luck nikki,

NLID- to cut costs seen someone on the shopping board get £56 worth of shopping at Tesco for something crazy like £9, using the bogofand all the other deals and getting £10 off first internet order, worth a try. what about an invigilator or whatever they are called at Exam times, wouldnt imagine it would be full time so you would still have time to dedicate to your own business?

  • Im looking into everything at the moment skint - one thing we cant cut corners with is Thomas's food, and he is just going onto a mix of baby rice, however is still on the baby formula at £7.24 a tub (Lasting around 6 days a tub)

now time to continue the ebayathon as I need my office clear - as at the moment it is a complete s**thole, with things from shredders to cheap cosmetic sets to a bedside lamp used only 4 times

The FA seems really good. I could of went in today but I need to dig out TC award notices and wage slips and bank statements lol and TBH I can't be bothered going to work to do it today.

Shes out all day tomorrow so thats why its Friday. If I can get the mortgage then I'm going to put in a sneaky offer (7k under) as its been empty for 2 years and the EA think it needs TONNES of work.

It does but not a lot of major work (windows and bathrooms) the rest is cosmetic (I would WANT a new kitchen but its livable atm) and it needs a carpet on the stairs but the rest is floorboards. So IF I get the house it will probably be a year or so before I've got it in the style that I want but would be worth it.

I can get a perfectly suitable bathroom suite for £200, fitted for zilch. The windows I can get for cost price and fitted for the cost of a night out. But that could potentially add a few £££ onto the price of the house :D.

One thing tho - every room has lining paper on it then painted over. Are they trying to hide something? I can't smell any damp and considering its been empty for as long thats surprising. No flaking paint or bubbles either.

Skint - thats been on market for about a year. We looked at a house literally across the road last June. It does look lovely. Like you i am totally skint. No money in the pot for wedding fairs this year :( Just concentrating on fulfilling my obligations elsewhere.

Nikki - yay for 2nd viewing. it will be 6-8 weeks minimum before keys exchanged i think. From memory i'm sure my FA said mortgages and paperwork takes around that but maybe its because i'm selling and buying. Maybe buying is different.

8 weeks is perfect as I need to give 2 months notice to my LL anyway.

Anyway I'm going to stop getting excited about it just incase it all falls through.:(
