Munchki - no idea if there is an ikea near you but their super king size duvet covers are really good value and the sheets too.

NLID - I can feel your pain with the client, I have had two what were good clients a few months ago and 80% of my business both pack it in within 2 weeks of each other!
What sucks most is the fact that I have dropped a considerable amount of revenue in the past 10 weeks to allow me to focus my time on the core business clients - basically guys who wanted 10 hours work for £30 (and im serious there) - basically jobs that have gone now and I wont take back on as I simply didnt have any time left at the end of the day for DS.
This setback is simply sole destroying to the point I have done sweet fa all night bar put in a few affiliates into the affiliate system - a project that wont earn much money until may-june time - when I need to be working on whats going to generate money now - but just dont have the get up and go£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

I can understand where you are coming from hon, truly I can. Sometimes however it might be good to take a step back, don't beat yourself up over it as the situation was out of your control with what happened to your clients.
I am happy to help you where ever I can, sales, marketing, some admin or whatever else you can think of. Just let me know and I will do what I can!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
thanks for the offer of help, it is appreciated.
I know its not good to beat myself up over a situation out of my control, however things like me doing this challenge are there to try and provide me the financial stability I need as a father - if this had happened in a couple months when the system was established, the seo book finished I would hopefully have the revenue to ride the storm. Unfortunately this is not the case£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

Hey skint you are doing so well and you are obviously going to need better tools than the ones you've got.
That church sounds exciting. wish it was here but then I wouldn't have the money either.
You wouldn't need the full amount upfront though. why not contact them and see if they would be up for renting it to you for a year with the right to buy at a pre-agreed price at the end. If you can show you can run a good business there you may be more likely to get the finance you need.

Hi everyone. Started my management course for work today - spent much of the day working out how to get our team across a river <the grass> on planks of wood without standing on the mines <squares of wood> or falling into the water, and building toy cars out of tubes in teams. It has been a surreal but enjoyable day.
Then my mum called to say my aunty from Kent was visiting and had been working on the family tree. So I zoomed up there and spent a very nice couple of hours learning about the naughty goings on of the women in my family for the 100 years. I officially come from a family of tarts!!!
2cats – we have an automatic folder inserter machine at work. Just wondering if it would be worth the postage for you to send them to me with the stamps on the envelopes. I could put them through the folder inserter and post them out for you. Would cost you the initial postage extra but would save you the work.
Nikki – wow on the house and mortgage plans. The price is amazing and if you can get it cheaper too even better. I think I mentioned before, a colleague of mine has just put a silly offer in for a house which she fully expected would be rejected. It was so she upped it by just £500 – and sat biting her nails thinking that would be rejected too but to her surprise it was accepted! She is sooo happy. Fingers crossed for you.
Munchki – great news on the flat. You’ll have to let us know what you still need and those of us not too far away could ask on Freecycle to see what we can get. Do you still need my cellar for storage or does the flat have loads of space to store your stuff?
NLID, horrible news. Must be gutting for your client too. So many people are losing their hard work and dreams, it's terrible. But you know what they say - when one door closes another always opens, and it may be what you need to push you to get the next bit of your plan into action and working. Or it may be a different door altogether that opens. Who knows. Fingers crossed for you too.
Hi everyone else :happyhear:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
NLID - don't know what to say except you will find a way through. it might not be the way you have in mind but you will find it.

Hi Joey,
I remember doing something like that when I was about ten on some outdoors course sort of thing. I absolutely loved it.
the family tree thing sounds like great fun and love the idea of a family tree of tarts!!
