Toots what do you call the style of crochet you use to do things like Totoro. Dh likes crocheting and I have seen some books on that sort of technique/style but can't remember its name to try and look some up.

It's Amigurumi, which is basically knitting or crocheting (usually the latter) in the round i.e. you don't do rows as such, you just keep going around and around! Very forgiving and easy to do, only really involves single crochet (oops, sorry, double in the UK), increasing and decreasing, so really really easy. If you are looking for some simple patterns, try out Lion Brand - you have to register, but it's free, as are all the patterns!

lol I am over the moon at the moment!!

I will need things like nets, curtains, fridge, stove, dishes

I have a few other things still in boxes stored away and spent about 20ish the other day and got kettle, toaster, cutlery (cheap and horrible it is but will work for now) and a couple of other things.

all in good time as they say. I will just be glad to not be sleeping on the couch in the living room! Only reason I am still up is because they are watching a film, dont matter that I have to get up at 6ish!!

www.400caloriesorless.com for some of us dieters. I however just eat what I like, within reason and I do not see it as a diet at all but a slight lifestyle change. I am happy with how I am right now (have lost over 4 stone so far) I still want to lose more, but I am doing it for me and me alone, no one else or for any other reason. To me it really is a state of mind, being conscious of what the body needs and enjoying every mouthful I take, knowing the fuel I put in is good for me. Yes of course I dont always eat right, even more so with how I have had to live the past 4 months, but this will change again very soon.

    Goddess, I do waffle!!
