Your letters have probably already gone. My observations are that I really like your complaints letter, it is calm and pragmatic but clear about what you request. Your banding enquiry letter is less clear and I found it less easy to read than your complaint letter. I'd recommend you make it simpler and you write around three key areas -

    1. Confirmation that you have been downgraded to Band C (because letter is confusing).
    2. Reasons for being downgraded.
    3. Your reasons for wanting relocation.

I trust this helps and Good luck.

Fair comment bfb but it is probable that the letters have already gone. We might disagree with the actual wording but the main points have been covered. In any case, Kevin's letter is superior to the one from the council which has presumably been prepared by a professional person who is well-skilled (NOT!) in the art of coherent communication!

Please keep us up to date, Kevin, on future develoments.

The Rebading Letter was sent on Monday of this week and the Complaints letter was sent Tuesday. I needed time to consider my options with the latter letter.

I have a suspicion they may find this thread if they haven’t done so already.
Poo-Poo will hit the fan then...

The resident that has made the allegation moved into the block only 4 weeks ago and I have never had any dealings or have ever spoken to him.

The reason I assumed it to be the Alki is because about 2 months ago I was on my way out the door to work at 05.30 in the morning.
