These threads have honestly lifted that weight. But not only that, re-ignited my interest in cooking and baking and feeling brave enough to try new things - it is easy to get stuck in a rut.

what a fantastic thing to read :)

    Thank you so much.

I feel our little team does need a boost from time to time, and your post and the email feedback via sian is very important in helping us realise why we're doing this.

How fab that it makes you feel more ok financially about baby 2.

And big congratulations on your pregnancy :)

I thought you guys should know there are people looking at the site and appreciating it, even if this thread is a little quieter x

    thanks sian :)

Sorry I've been a bit quieter on here I feel bad if I haven't got anything CFRish to say cos it feels naughty to be off topic.

murrell and avocet, I did make time to thoroughly look at the live below the line site, and thanks for telling us about it avocet.

At first I thought 'oh I'll post a comment about us and see if we can strike up a relationship', but on reflection I realised we stand for very different things, and that I'd personally struggle to link the two campaigns (not that CFR is a campaign!).

hey lesley,:) I skyped you about kitty's seasonings but I think I have skype-freeze so my messages don't look like they've arrived with you (they've got that little 'waiting wheel' at the side).

So post if you can't see them and I'll email you?

And hello everyone, are you all ok?

Hello everyone. I haven't got anything CFR-related to say at the moment, but just posting as the thread is a bit quiet!

If any of you have Asian shops nearby go and check them out. it is Ramadan on the 11th August and lots of them are doing really good deals. I got two trays of tinned tomatoes and two trays of chickpeas for £5.50 per two trays. They are also doing 25kg sacks of heera flour for £12 for two. Loads of other offers too. I am stocking up on oil, beans, pulses and spices too among other things

Hi, I'm new to the thread but have decided I need to eat healthier on a cheap budget so thought I'd give your website a try! It's just me, so I will probably have to halve some of the recipes to start with, I've just done a shopping list on MrT website and it comes to £30 which should give me nearly a months worth of meals, although i'll only be eating about 5 different meals. Hpefully this is successful and not only will I be healthier, I'll be making my monthly budget of £60 go further!
    Thanks x

PS Would you recommend spending say £30-40 (will be less each month as i get more store cupboard items) of my budget each month in a bulk shop, to then batch cook, and leave myself say £5-10 per week for fresh fruit to snack on, milk etc?
