Just had a look at this site. They don't seem to be able to get much for there 2 dollars. It makes cfr, look positively luxury. I don't think the people following it, will be getting all the nutrients required. But its only for a few days to raise money and awareness. Hope they do well.

this bit made me laugh out loud! Hello sandra, hope you're well
How's your nutrition number crunch coming along? xxx
Cool, thanks
BTW, the onion price on the spreadsheet is incorrect - atm they are 97p each for SP 2 kg, ao £3.88 for 4
Thanks Allegra, noted and changed in the spreadsheet.poohbear59 wrote: »Before the planner 1 test month I hadn't bought meat from a supermarket. I was always a bit wary about what we would really be eating. Since eating ASDA smart price meat I can say we didn't really notice the difference to out old supplier other than that the ASDA mince and chicken had a lot more fat.
Sadly our butcher passed away a few months ago and we now have had to find someone else we trust for our meat. I have bought from the co-op recently because they sell Elmwood chickens which are slightly better than factory farmed and British mince from the co-op. We always wait until the meat is reduced so it cost around the same price as the Asda smart price meat. We are also lucky to have a slow but steady supply of lamb and rabbits which are locally sourced and free!! I would love to be able to afford organic and free range meat but we have to live within our means.
Today we have received a gift of food including mince, chickens and bacon and other things we never buy such as biscuits etc.
So glad you got a nice gift poohbear, you and your family deserve it! How's DDs batch cooking going? xxx ETA: thought of you in the week when I made a crumble topping with cornmeal? Have you thought of that as a wheat-free possibility?
QOS how lovely your first courgette- yay! What did you do with it? I love them thinly sliced and sauteed with mushrooms garlic and butter

Does this mean he is doing all the other stuff as well? If so he said to do unspeakable things to this man to keep him there!!!!!!!! If it is just for the above then it is still a very good deal and you are not getting ripped off. Yes i understand that greek part. Ex says that there may be an extra charge to Hydro if the guy informs them (you will need to check with your guy). HTH feel free to ask anything else he is "happy to help" (sounds like an advert for Mr T)0 -

Yay! I hope it was bigger than mine! I picked my first baby round courgette last week as my neighbour told me they only grow to the size of golf balls to be told yesterday that she made a mistake and they do grow to the size of a melon after all!!
weezl, I have cornmeal in my cupboard, unopened too. Last weekend I made a ready brek/porridge oats crumble and it was tasty. If you can give me any recipes to use my cornmeal I would be very grateful.
I hope your kitchen fitting continues in a stress free manner. Don't forget to ask if you need any help cooking with limited resources.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Poohbear, is that cornmeal as in polenta?
I have some lovely Italian recipes that make dinners using polenta0 -

Glad it gave you a laugh. I haven't done much more nutrition number crunching yet. I keep it on my 'to do' list but it keeps getting moved on to the next day!! At the moment, I can't be bothered when I get in from work, as we are stock taking and I am getting fed up of counting buttons. (I work in a fabric and haberdashery shop) Glad it will be over with on Thursday. My mind might be able to think of something a bit more challenging like nutrition then.

Im still not entirely sure what we want to do about e-mails but we got a great one saying
"Just a quick email to say that I've just visited your site and I LOVE it! It looks really professional and the page with the costs per portion, if it is freezable etc is excellent.
Well done and keep up the good work!"
I thought you guys should know there are people looking at the site and appreciating it, even if this thread is a little quieter xGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day
