Tried the red lentil pate today. It was the highest degree of nom. In the method I would probably say not to just leave it simmering but to keep checking in case it sticks to the bottom of the pan. I made a half quantity, which needed to simmer for about half an hour. I'm not sure it needs the balsamic, unless Kitty has some anyway, as it tasted equally delicious before it was added.
It should probably also come with a warning - do not taste while cooking, or there might not be much left by the end!!0 -

I think the new monthly plan layout is good too.

yes, it's not quite right is it.
they can have it with cloddies, sweetcorn fritters etc, or on bread with hummus or lentil pate as a snack, but yes it's not a snack in itself...
