  • Thanx Weezl. Murrell and Lesley for your help.

My SIL is lovely in so many ways, but he's a bit like a dog with a bone when he thinks that he is in the right, and I get no peace. He even asked me today "checked it out yet?" Makes me want to make him eat his words. What is it they say.......let's allow teenagers to run the world while they still know everything. Kids!!!!! What can you do with them?

Protein is made of amino acids, some of which are known as 'essential amino acids' because the body can't make them itself.

It's important to get some of each of these essential amino acids at the same time. Soya, quinoa and hemp seeds are the only vegetarian sources of the complete mix of essential amino acids. (The complete mix is also found in meat, poultry, fish and eggs.)

Although it sounds complicated, it's actually easy to get all the essential amino acids you need by eating different types of protein foods at the same time, in fact you will often being doing this already, for example by having:

    • beans on your toast
    • milk with your breakfast cereal
    • rice with lentil dhal
    • a rice and bean salad
    • vegetable chilli (with kidney beans) served with rice or tortillas
    • bread and cheese
    • soup made with lentils, beans or split peas with a chunk of bread
    • houmous and pitta bread

Weezl, still too busy to do much atm but should be clearer by next week. I am morag1202 on skype.

Do I take it that it is the 'hearted' sections you want us to look at? For some reason it has appeared now, I am not sure if it needed me to add all the other members of the conversation before it showed me it :)

    Allegra :)

I know you are a busy lady, but as you're a key stakeholder in the project and have invested so much of your time, I felt a bit uncomfortable actioning the new changes without seeing a bit how you feel.

But being realistic, is that me holding onto a daft hope, or might you get a little time to look?

    Either way is fine :)
