Ah that list. Once it was done I deleted it from my memory.

Ooh, that is a good idea. Apparently the protein in the skin of some stone fruits is the same as that in trees which cause hayfever type allergies so I know if I eat cherries or plums then I get an itchy throat. I could cope with that but the rash on my face is more annoying. I bought some pastry mix from Home Bargains for about 39p for 1.5kg so I may have a go with that.
Sian, cherry jam? With some cooking apples if you need some padding if there aren't enough?
Sorry I didn't word it well I KNOW you weren't criticising CFR or me (you never do) it just happened to tie in with something I've been wondering, and my own sense of jealousy at prettier sites!
DH said they are both beautiful, but in different ways (and I kinda imagined you were saying something similar) like we might say one woman is 'pretty' where another is 'stylish' and the two sites differ in perhaps that way.
Sorry to be cryptic about the job, you've never had your skype light on when I wanted to write to you! Gimme a 5 min window at some point and I'll ping you a linkie?
I think you and I are destined never to meet on Skype as the time I am logging on is the time you are logging off. You could PM me on here or send me an e-mail if you want to? You could even e-mail CFR!
Regarding the visuals of the site, I think a lot of the colour on that type of site (annie's eats) are the links to other websites which are money making ones. The general view of the site is not that different, aside from the side bar on the left with some 'favourites' which does add a little excitement to the page. I have no clue about how hard it is to make a webpage; I originally imagined it was like making a publisher document where you can move things about as and when you want, whereas I get the impression it actually uses a lot of HTML knowledge and coding. Most of my favourite sites are very simple, postsecret, desiringgod, 22words... I go there for the content not just the look whereas the baking sites, I want to be sold more than the recipe, I want pictures, I want stories, I want a lifestyle sold to me...
It does stand in contrast with you because you are giving a very different message which is "Food is great, enjoy it, make it yourself, learn how it smells and tastes but don't think that by making dinner you become a different person, don't let it master you and fall into the trap of believing that by using extra virgin olive oil you will somehow be transformed to a domestic goddess and still stay stick thin in your perfectly clean kitchen. Roll your sleeves up, get covered in flour, make a bit of a mess, try something new, and most of all, help yourself to have a more sustainable lifestyle that will make you feel good because it contains good things for you, things that help your body and don't send it off into random sugar spikes..."
So, that was a lot of waffle. One thing I like about you that doesn't come across on the site, and probably isn't appropriate to come across on the site, is your sense of humour. You are really, really funny and it is a shame Joe Bloggs who clicks on the site doesn't get to know that. I mean look at the way this one is written, I would love to see a blog like this of your life
Goodness me I talk a lot, hope everyone is well todayGod is good, all the time

Love that blog Sian. Especially the bit about bikinis.0

Are you able to skype us at all, it is often an easier way to share tasks as there are some restrictions on MSE and there is a file sharing system
But for you lovely ladies I'm sure I can sort it out asap.
Interesting point about the oil in the porridge. Not sure it'd suit me at the minute though as I'm trying to shed a few excess lbs (says she scoffing an egg mayo sarnie!) but that's the beauty of the planner I suppose - you tweak it to suit your needs.
I'm in Milton Keynes this weekend at an Open Uni training conference but I'll endeavour to sort Skype out as a matter of urgency.0 -
Cazz - you don't need a microphone. We are just using the instant messaging bit of it so it is just typing.
(Well unless I accidently call everyone again while trying to learn to use it!
:rotfl:) Let weezl or someone else know your name on there and we can add you to the chat. (Prob not me if you want to be added today as I'm not sure I'll be on it till tomorrow eve or possibly even Saturday)
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

That's the bit I didn't like. Because she said it's weird if your thighs don't touch.
Aww, I have a feeling most of what she was saying was that she would like to be someone who looked good in a bikini and thought the only people who could wouldn't have thighs that rubbed together. I understand the 'envy of women with flat stomachs and thighs like a gazelle', I really do, because there are more people that love cake and are therefore rounded in various places than there are people who love cake and can look good in a bikini. There is a quote I like which says "life is short, eat more pancakes and fewer rice cakes", doesn't mean I wouldn't like to still look attractive though. Not the be all and end all but it is like looking at a woman with 3 kids who manages to wear linen uncreased and unstained, or someone who turns up at work with perfect hair dead on time having made a healthy smoothie to have at her desk, I do sometimes feel the envy for the people who seem to manage it all...God is good, all the time
