Weezl, as Kitty's weekly shopping list and batch cooking list have now reached the point where I can't do any more on them until the planner is fully finalised, is there anything else I can help you with ?

BTW, so far it appears that Kitty's batch cooking will be a doddle compared to Shirleys, as so many of her meals are easy enough to prepare after a day's work - so it looks like she'll just be pulling out her food processor to do a bunch of spreads and do a little light baking in addition :T
    :D

You'll never ask that again, you'll run for cover!

Erm, shirley's second week shopping list? :)

Do you not have the option of an interlibrary loan, Arty ? Or visiting another library under the SCONUL scheme ?

We do but it takes a while and have to get my supervisor to asign it off and hes on holiday at the mo.

I have bought just one and will order the books from other libraries, its just a bit of a kerfuffle.

Hi Weezl, I don't seem to have received the spreadsheet you wanted me to have a look at? Thanks

Yeah, but think of the money saved, Arty :)

Weezl, no problem - I might not be able to do it today as I'm at work now and have not got all my Shirl gubbins with me :) (My high-tech printouts and pencil notes without which I am utterly incapable of doing anything, lol). I'll make a start though - all the necessary info is online, I just tend to get a bit confuzzled when not surrounded by mountains of scribbles ;)

I'm in the library and they have NO books so now have to spend a fortune on buying them from amazon!
DH has access to all the cardiff uni libraries, so maybe some welsh art history books we can get for you?

I copy & pasted the recipe and the spreadsheet values are in brackets.

    Nut roast

Tablespoon of oil for frying (30ml)
    2 onions, chopped (160g) plus 240g for gravy = 400g (320g)
    2 teaspoons garlic (10g)
    1 tablespoon SR flour (50g)
200 ml vegetable stock (or water)
    100 g finely chopped peanuts (200g)
    90g roughly chopped cashews (NIL)
    100g chopped walnuts (50g)
    175 g breadcrumbs (2 – slices?)
100ml liquid from a jar of sweet red peppers if you have one, or a splash of wine vinegar/balsamic vinegar if not
    dessertspoon dried oregano (1g)
    Salt and pepper to taste

    500g carrots (320g)
    1000g potato (800g)

320g peas (80g per person) (NIL)

And on the spreadsheet but not in the recipe (400g kidney beans).
