Hannah, hello and welcome to the thread.

If I remeber correctly, the ASDA oil that is used in the plan is Canola, I think it came out in one of the previous nutrition crisis moments.

Oh, and I have consulted the articles of association and you'll probably be pleased to know your position comes with a complimentary Benelli, sadly it is currently in for repair and the parts may be some time :D.

Found you a pic to dribble on in the mean time :-)

I'm not fussed about the palace too much, just an averageyish one like, oooh I dunno, Sandrigham?

Welcome to our mad world Hannah. The best you can prob hope for is a lousy rendition of Flower of Scotland in the worst accent ever or a couple of better sung songs in Welsh other than that you are scuppered im afraid. As bosses go i have had worse and you will get used to her in time just dont expect too much.
PS boss noticed the bit earlier about singing and no i wasnt at work at that point Welsh only or not at all or union rep will be on to you again.:)

Should be around this afternoon if needed xx

_pale_ B-b-b-b-b-b-but that could take YEARS...

Might as well just go check on the Asda veg oil then since I've got nothing better to do... :(

*Wanders off looking small and pitiful and sorry for herself*

NOTE: Not too looking small to keep a sportsbike upright at traffic lights however... NEARLY that small, but not quite that small Ok? Maybe a mere smidgeon bigger than that, just a smidgeon, but bigger is bigger... Just as long as we're clear!

    Ingredients

    Pure Rapeseed Oil .
If so sayeth Asda then they must be right... And since rapeseed's got better numbers than canola and is essentially the same stuff then meh who minded! ;)

Oh and I just did the calculation I didn't do in post # 4689 and worked out what the rapeseed oil requirement could potentially be as low as. Ready?

    85ml

So, the right quantity of Asda vegetable oil to keep a family in Omega 9 for 31 days is somewhere between 515ml and 85ml but where?

I looked at the menuplan, there's 2560ml of oil in the porridge alone. When I saw that I thought that couldn't be right in amillion years, two and a half litres?? Yep, it's right. I didn't bother to look at the rest of the plan after that, there was no need.

The diet officially passes on Omega-9. It does so five times over just on recipe no.1

    good morning all :)

hannah it's a joy meeting you, like suddenly acquiring an extra brain that functions well after 8pm :T:T:T:T

    hope everyone's well:D

thanks loads to those of you who've started letting me know your availability, shanks and juliette there'll certainly be a couple of tasks :) But juliette, I feel bad giving you stuff when signed off sick :( are you sure that isn't going to be painful?

Just a couple of catching up on where people got to with certain things: (not nagging!)

morag,:A I was thinking of uploading your FAQ's once we'd added the extra bit we talked about, is that realistic, or shall I just publish what we have?

Potty, :AI don't suppose you got anywhere with asda customer services and the firming agent in the kidney beans? (how much calcium):D

Still on the look out for anyone who can use photoshop :)

Sianerellie, the technically minded chap who emailed, I'm wondering if he might be up for contributing a bit more of his geekery to the project?

    more in a min :)

I'm totally happy we fulfil the omega 9 requirement now, so thank you loads for that :)

Just a quick worry I may have worded the porridge recipe wrong, cos I make it that the porridge uses 640ml over the month, 16 lots of 40ml, but I wonder if I haven't expressed it clearly enough (tis pretty usual with some of my recipes!)

hannah no wish to overburden you, but anything you can find out about good sources of omega 6 and in what ratio to o3 it is required, and what we should be having of it daily?

I can, and I will, but is it needed today? I'm not busy so much as just at my omega limits. There is only so much vegetable oil a girl can take before it all starts slipping. Hopefully the accuracy lasted till the porridge error, I think so, but then I thought it was 2.5 L of oil. :o If there's no rush shall I do it tomorrow or thursday?
