sian, looking at that recipe, they're counting red onions as a blue/purple, but other sites aren't calling it that...

Strange that. Can raisins count? If so then the onion could be the white?

I don't have a male of my own but of my friendship group all the boys are going to be disappearing for a while. Not sure I can be bothered to pretend I care which of the groups of men can kick the leather sphere into the big net

re the superhealthy 4/5 portions recipes, can we count the accompanying veg?

sweet bean curry has 8.75 red, so that's 1 each
    3 white
    no orange/yellow
    2.5 blue /purple
    1 green

so if it was accompanied by a total of (between them) 80g white cabbage, 320g carrots, 240g peas, the only thing missing would be 0.5 portion blue/purple

I was imagining another tab called 'additional recipes for 80p a day living' or something like that, that made it clear these were not mealplanner recipes but additional offerings

I can see how you could build the site with lots of diff ways of organising the data on it, but I don't see that you have to change anything from where it is now. Well not quite anything, but you know what I mean, I hope

The premise of the site is meal planners detailing how to live on xp a day. ''In addition, we have these lovely recipes that will fit the xp, but have not been collected into a plan and you need to make your own decision on the nutrition for your circumstances''
    thanks lesley.

I'm happy to do that, I'll wait and check that's what most of the team were meaning too.

I wasn't thinking of changing it any more than that, but cos it's a month's build time, so I'd like to be sure IYSWIM? :o

not saying that for any reason other than to emphasise we need to get it as close to what we want as possible.

I won't shout Engerland to loudly on here then - I'll be watching, then Wimbledon soon, and I'm working the 2nd week of Wimbledon - oh no!

Allegra, when you look at the site later, I'm just a bit concerned about adding in 3 new tabs on the menubar, without them wrapping around.

If we add 'more recipes' as well as 'links' and 'about us' I think we'll have issues of width won't we?
Could you please also give an opinion about that? Sorry to bombard you!

erm, anyone good at nutrition researching, like susan/murrell/morag, are you able to help with anything definitive on which family it counts as?
I was searching a while ago (when you asked me for an alternative to sweetcorn and then Allegra came up with BNS) for some kind of list but couldn't find anything - I was actually about to ask you if you knew of a decent list anywhere.

yes, I was teasing. You have spent such a lot of time on this that just wouldn't have been possible if you were being a wage slave

I have just emailed a mate who works at the CAB sometimes asking if he was involved with people in debt crisis and if it would be alright for him to mention the site, and sent him the link so he could have a look

I am hoping something could be put up somewhere in their office about it
