Good morning

Hey all,
We had a good comment on the site from a man who was testing the raisin biscuit recipe. He wondered if it was a typo that we used garam masala in them and had subbed mixed spice instead. I wonder if that could be one of the ingredients with a 'hover' to explain why it is in the sweet and savoury recipes. He said he really liked the site and really enjoyed the biscuitsGod is good, all the time

I wonder if there's a way we can recruit some more helpers?
Lots of the regulars are a bit burnt out after all their hard work.
If there's anything anyone feels I can do about that (recruiting), do please let me know

I could put 'or mixed spice if you're not following the whole month planner?'
How lovely to have male feedback, I do hope he feels able to keep in touch, I think it's important that the site is friendly to Bobs and shirleys

thank you sian!
I think skaps needs something that I can't give her without being banned
Also it would be fab to have your feedback on how the site will navigate, as per my post of yesterday.
I feel I can't move forward till I know what the team would like me to do.
And it'd be a real shame if that meant I then couldn't build it because real life needs me more, IYSWIM?
ie I'd like to build it while I have the chance!

and sorry, one more question and I don't mean this to be a final straw for anyone!
I wonder if anyone can just help me understand how the 'more recipes' thing is useful, ie how just doing the first month kitty/shirley planner will have been enough to teach them to put the month's food together for themselves, so that they can then go 'off plan'.
I'm not being obstinate I'm genuinely confused!

will respond to your question later, weezl, when not typing 1 handed, but just to say that the tortilla wraps recipe linked earlier comes to 2 WW Points per wrap. Subbing water for milk would make almost no difference, either.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

is the formula for WW points still: (cals/70) + (sat fat grams/4)

thank you aless

No idea! I just plug the recipe into my account-thingee and it tells me.
Anyway, about your queries:
If you want the very main goal of the website to be "here's (a) plan(s) to feed your family for £100/month, guaranteed to have adequate nutrition and sufficient calories, which is mapped out meal-by-meal for you to follow" - then I view the "more recipes" as supplementary information and therefore not necessarily worthy of its own tab (but a prominent link off the main recipes page, yes).
If you view your goal being "here's (a) plan(s) to feed your family, but I also want to teach you how to plan for yourself so that months 2, 3, and so on are also successful" - then the recipes tab becomes difficult. It's confusing to have tabs saying "planner recipes" and then "other recipes", because if a person hasn't read all the relevant info they are going to be confused. But if you truly want the above as your goal, then the other recipes need to be featured in their own right as their own main page in the spirit of teaching Shirley to fish. So I'm not entirely sure what the answer to this is...or maybe the other recipes are ALWAYS supplementary info no matter what, in the same way that the batch cooking guide and such is...hmmm...
Sorry, I'm thinking outloud here and it's likely not helpful. But I've decided - I don't like the idea of another recipes tab - I think it's too confusing. I think you need a bit of text at the top of the normal recipes page saying, "Here are the recipes from the meal planners, but we've also got some additional cheap recipes you may be interested in." and then you can have the small disclaimer about nutrition, etc on the page that follows.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
