ps I realised it's not helpful to just say 'you are valued' without saying why

So, I like that you are honest about what's working for shirl, and what isn't and you say it in a really constructive way.

I like the way you question the thinking behind things, so that they become more coherent.

You use humour to diffuse tension.

You ask insightful questions and encourage me whenI feel downcast about the project.

You bothered to test month one to see if it worked for 1/2 people even though bread was/is scary and you don't like raisins...

Thanks arty, I really hope you'll stay around, cos I'm rubbish at facebook so this is my best place to be friends with you!

I think maybe I misunderstand everyone's 'up for it ness' about the whole big CFR project.

When I put a task out there and no-one seizes it I fear I've overestimated people's keenness, and I kind of criticise myself, for expecting/thinking this would be important to other people. So I shy away from asking more IYSWIM?

But then both arty and potty (2 complete stalwarts!) feel perhaps there's not stuff they could do, which is far from how I see it!:rotfl:

arty you must stay and contribute as you have been; I have not tested a single recipe or contributed in any way other than to occasionally comment on food weezl has fed me, encouraged when I can or made comment on how cute those boys are...dont have kids or a mr but dont think my opinion is less valid for that? If it were then few people would post...so none of this ere "Im not posting" malarky eh cos you are very much a valued member of the team and our weezl and other contributors would really miss you. now go give mr arty a hug, get a good nights sleep and see if you feel any better tomorrow :) hug for you...:)

well, I try to be more gentle (and am more concious of this since being weezled because she thinks very much while I just blurt!) but alas am not good at the going round the houses approach...No need for a personality change - you are valued just as you are! We all have different skills in life and a good team is one that contains lots of different facets for it to suceed. I would love to be a geek (actually a vet if I could) but never will cos I dont have that kind of brain! Sleep tight!

As everyone is contributing so much at the moment and I am doing nothing I think I may bow out of this thread soon. I feel that I am most defiantly the 'weakest link' and able to contribute very little, probably hindering rather than helping.:o However I will give you mr arty's brain and will avidly read what you are all up to and be very proud.:)

Oi young lady, we'll be having less of that. Get your backside back on that computer chair and no more of this silliness!
