2 potential jobs it would help me to delegate:

anyone got a copy of photoshop 7.0 or newer and a very rudimentary knowledge of how to use it, and the willingness to give approx 1.5 hrs to the project over the next couple of days?

anyone willing to keep a 'project do list' where everytime someone gives me a task, or I give out a task, someone notes it in one master list so we can see where we've got to and someone can nag me :)

Suggestion: someone like hornetgirl/shanks/sallygirl who are tops at detail would be good for a task like this :)

If you are adding a 'contact us' tab, might it not be a good idea to add a 'links' tab at the same time? This was discussed a while ago and people seemed to feel that linking to MSE, mysupermarket, food standards agency and hate waste site would be good.

Sorry, no html or other useful skills but I am willing to write the links page if you decide to add one.

    2) Ooooo, if you're at all weirdly interested in science-y body stuff, you MUST go to the Huntarian Museum. It may scare poor Fergie, as it's full of things (read: body parts, mostly) in jars and bones but it's sosososo cool and interesting. And free! It's the museum OF the RCOS so I assume it's near it?
Have you been watching History Cold Case? (Not sure what channel it's on but I watched it on iPlayer.) They featured the Huntarian Museum in the second episode.

    Hi Morag :)

I'm really looking forward to having a links page too.

Apparently, from a google ranking point of view links will damage us, until we have enough incoming links to 'balance it out'.

Google will rank a site lower if it has lots of outward links to popular sites, without links coming back to it.

This is because linking to a famous site used to be a quickfire way of shooting yourself up the rankings, without necessarily having good content.

So my Dad has suggested we hold off on outward links until we are a little more established.

I would love to take you up on your offer of help though, and look forward to what you will write, just so long as you are cool with it not going up there for a little while!

    thanks arty :)

pinkhayley, are you still out there? :)

I think I may have to remove the sentence about weaning babies and the rice pudding, I hope that's ok, from your fab article on leftovers...

It's just that it may read a bit as if we're advising giving sugar to a sub-one year old, which surrently the health visitors are advising against (but this shifts frequently!) so I'm wondering maybe leave it out just in case?

    xxx
