Wow
So many de-lurkers in the one day …. Smashtastic:j:j
Just a quick catch up post from me….
spot more feedback required.
My dad and I are working on a way of getting the recipes to rank by other things than ease/diet/cost, such as calories per portion, whether it freezes, time taken to prep it/cook it, fat grams per portion.
Can I get a feel for how useful people feel this is, and should it come above any of the other tasks going on curently?
Is there anything else people feel the site urgently needs as it is now attracting real life shirleys
I think including fat grams/sat fat grams, protein, carbs and calories per portion, would make the site far more marketable to Shileys looking after the £££, as well as the lbs...
Now, I know Weezl, that you're personal goal is the Shirleys looking after £££....
But in reality, there is gonna be alot of Shirleys who will be also wanting an added benefit of looking after the lbs, and might feel that if its saving money, the calories must be
The very fact that a few testers, and lurkers on this and the previous thread have expresssed an interest in weight loss has got to count for something...:)
Although I personally freeze everything I can (well I do now, I never used to, before I found this site)... there is a massive thread on OS, asking what you can and cannot freeze....
If many OS'ers are asking, an inexperienced Shirleys will want to know what can be frozen successfully and what cant.
Lets face it, NO one wants to see Shirley wasting food, that has been frozen, and can not be eaten afterwards, because it doesn't freeze well
Can people please have a ponder what nutrients shirl might be most worried about?
For my mum, she said 'but how can there be enough protein?' when seeing how low the budget was...
Is she the norm?
Protein, carbs, fat, sat fat........
Sugars....
Sorry my post is sooooo long....
I have had a mega, mega busy night at work, and my brain is now mashed potato now, so I fear I have waffled….and I feel I need to wash my eyeballs in a mild bleach solution…. So bed time it is
Nitey night
Incidentally.... for anyone thats interested....
I'm an ENTJ , although, I bet after a good nights sleep, and a restfull day off or two, that may change;)
