true true, I guess I was only thinking of the negative aspects...okay, I've re-read the profiles (before I only scanned for 10 seconds) and have completely revised to ENFJ :rotfl:

    Hi all

I am almost certainly one of those showing as a regular hit on the site. I did de-lurk on this thread once before. I found the site via Weezl’s site. I think this is a fantastic project & am totally in awe of Weezl (rather than scared) & all her helpers.

At the moment I have just done a huge batch cook from whoopsied meat & fish I had stockpiled in the freezer, so I am not in a position to follow the plan as a whole. More likely to try some odd recipes; there are quite a few that look mouth-watering! Will definitely try the bean pate, as I regularly use the lentil pate from a previous Weezl thread. But I tried pig’s liver pate before & was too strong for me, so went back to using chicken livers.

If I can help in the short term I will be happy to do so, as I do want to support this project & see it succeed. I would probably be most help proofreading or can check prices, or do conversions?

As a single parent to an 11 year-old DD with a FT job in London I am cash poor & time poor! We are both meat eaters & have had long discussions about this & that is the way we want to stay. And we both love marmite. But I am currently signed off sick, so do have a bit more time than usual.

On the previous 5-a day discussion I thought this would be helpful, as it is the Australian guidelines & includes information about why they decided on that amount & adjustments for children. I think there needs to be an emphasis that 5-a-day is included, because this is what (I think) most people will perceive as being necessary for a ‘healthy diet’.

OK, have waffled on long enough. BTW I’m ISTJ.

Hi Julimk and welcome i am sure that one of the others will pop on to say hi. I am sure we will find some tasks for you to do and thanks for the offer. Hope you find some of the meals to suit. My ex is a big meat eater but we did the planner for a month and he was happy with it and didnt find there was a shortage. xx

Since people are confessing - we had fish & chips tonight. Well it is Friday...

I prefer the picture with the garlic bulbs, although both look good. Sorry, haven't been around much this week as I got called into wok unexpectedly. But hoping to test some of the vegan recipes soon.

Oh and I forgot to add, I'm ISTJ. It was reassuring to discover that my qualifications and career are in a "suitable" occupation!

    Hello all!

Obviously we have a theme for evening meals on here. I had steak, homemade chips, mushrooms and tomatoes with a fried egg, sooooo gooooood! Mainly got it because I was going to have a panini at lunchtime and I decided I would save the money and have a healthier treat later (honestly! I used Frylight on everything)

So... I signed up for a hotmail address. Anyone wanna send a message to cheapfamilyrecipes@hotmail.co.uk?
