    Hello!
I know I am not on time with the rest of you, but only just found all this info! I have ordered all the food and am starting batch cooking today. There is SO much information on here that it is difficult to get through it all! I have found all the recipes and the shopping list, but just wondered if there were any hints/help on what batch cooking to do when etc please?
    Thank you!

    Hi,
If you go to post #3, there is a link to the recipe list and a link to 'essential links for testers'. On that link is 'a rough guide to batch cooking'. That should get you you started ;) Enjoy!

PS. Where do all the lemons go?
There is so much of everything that I'm not sure what I have to make when!
    All hints gratefully received!

The lemons are for stuffing, maybe the risi e bisi and for cordial.....take it one step at a time. It's not that tricky really, but I would advise pacing yourself!

Check out the link and perhaps read the first lot of pages on the thread, they may have some helpful info :)

    hello gmac and welcome :D

either you have been secretly lurking and trying bits and bobs or you are the bravest soul I've come across in a long time! I admire your in at the deep end approach :)

I guess the big thing to resolve if you bought the whole months food is how to store it before it goes off (our plan is for Shirley to shop weekly/fortnightly), as waste would be a shame for you and your family. :(

Has your food order come already?

How much space have you got in your freezer?

How many people did you buy for?

Arty, shanks, frankie HG, Allegra, Jenny, poohbear et al are all finishing today, but I'm sure we will be able to answer questions about some of the recipes and it will be great to get your feedback.

What loaf tins have you got? Have you made bread before and which recipe did you use?

please can someone venture a breakdown of the shopping list into weekly/fortnightly ones?

I'd be ever so grateful, this would mean bob's website can go live much sooner, and we can start helping folk in earnest :D

Not everybody, Arty m'luv. Some of us don't have a vote ;)

Lesley, my sister, who worked for a while in a Croatian restaurant in Germany, also used to put mustard in her potato salad dressing. She would also add a handful of dill (which I dislike), and very finely cubed gherkins. Dill aside, the end result was delicious :)

Gmac, I am attempting to tidy up the batch cooking info so it actually gives you a day-by-day info of what to cook when, but I'm afraid I have been really short of time and unable to do it yet :o You will need to do a bit of batch cooking a day or so prior to starting the plan - there is a basic guidelines list in this post. How many "levels" you do depends on how much time and energy you have - I only did level 1 on the batch cooking day and that was fine :) Shout if you have any more questions, and I will try to come up with the revised batch cooking list in time to be helpful to you !

I won't volunteer for this one, keen though I am - I feel I am holding people up enough as it is :o
