Liz is never rude, patronising yes, rude no.

And I am not threatening anyone, I just thought that in ranting about someone on a public forum should be anonymous.

I think its better if people are named as people hide too much behind faceless corporations. If people realise that when they are rude to customers they are named and shamed on this forum then they may stop doing it. Also i find it hard to see how you can take the moral high ground here, true the OP has named the staff member but you've actually described what the woman looks like!

So what if she is making it clear who it is?!? I don't get your threat here?

I wouldn't be very happy if I was the staff member concerned and I was unable to put my side of the story. She is being discussed on an open forum, is quite easily identifiable and she doesn't even know it

What if the version of events on here are not correct or fair? What if it's a case of the customer can't take no for an answer therefore everyone the spoke to was "rude" to them just because they can't take no for an answer, that happens countless times!

Would you like it if you dealt with someone who spent 5 minutes screaming at you because they haven't read something properly, accused you of being rude more often than not it'll be "I've never known someone so rude". Would you like that?

I think you've possibly has a job/career that has sheltered you and you have no idea how impossible/unreasonable some people actually are.

however the raw meat manager was not honouring it as I had bought one turkey and one beef burger product

What is the burger product anyway? I can see Turkey, I can't see beefburgers?

Yeah, that looks like a separate promotion to me!

It probably is a seperate promotion but if they were marked up on the same shelf and it wasnt clear that you couldnt mix and match then it's worth a complaint. I think the OP would probably not have complained had it not been for the way he felt after complaining. Not many of the big supermarkets make you feel like "the customer is always right" when you tell them you arent happy about something. If it has taken the OP ten years to complain about something then I expect that the people he spoke to in store did not put much effort into customer service. Even Elizabeth's friend has admitted online that she is patronising. I think her friend hasnt really got a leg to stand on after writing that about poor Elizabeth. I'd be much more upset about my friend writing that and then pointing me to the place they had written it online, rather than a random customer telling people that they received poor customer service from them!

I don't see any threats being made but I don't consider it good form to name someone on a public forum who is then identifiable at their place of work.

so just saying the meat counter manager wouldn't have given it away to those who shop there anyway?!?

A product containing raw meat.. is meat.. why make such a deal of it being a burger?

I love Asda...but only at 8-30 in the morning... can't stand it during the day and especially at weekends.. its not the staff... its the customers....!

Although obviously in this case the OP had a problem with the staff.. they are all lovely early in the mornings...! As in all supermarkets the pricing and promotions can be confusing/misleading. Hope you get it sorted.
