Well bye bye Laser!!
I bought a TV from you that gave me nothing but trouble from day 1 and your company were of no help to me!!
So, what goes around comes around!!
Feel sorry for the staff losing their jobs.
Well, I suppose what they say is true!!!

I went to Laser in Lurgan once .I wanted be buy some a radio alarm clock .
I asked the assistant for a particular alarm clock ,the assistant disappeared .I thought they had gone to get my alarm clock ,but no they had gone for there lunch break in the middle off a sale . Never went back after that ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Not surprised by the news but saddened that a local company has ceased trading. Feel for the staff0

Does anyone think their will be a sale and if so WHEN0

Shocking store, but still sad to see people losing their jobs regardless. I just think Currys / PC World / Harvey Norman etc. were just crippling them in the Electronics market.0

Pathetic store.0

Well I dont think Harvey Norman done them any damage, they are the next to go I reckon.
Do you realise how much money per month they lose in Ireland alone??
Laser always had a Currys or an independant dealer round the corner alaways offering a better deal.
Alot of the big cmpanies are just turning over money, they arent busy like they want to be, so they cut the prices too compete and bang goes the profits, only so long you can go on as a company without making money, then in laser's case, you got all that staff in 10 shops to pay and the suppliers waiting on their money.
All the big companes are oing they same, better to go to an independant like Hanna & Browne, Smyth Patterson, Sams Yer Man, EH Services. They dont have the same overheads as the big shops, and always seem to be easier to deal with.
I have been informed though by a reliable sorce within the trade that they WILL be bought, although when bought they will downsize and close 3-4 of their shops.
But you gotta feel bad for the staff!
Ah well!
Whos next??
I think Harvey Norman staff should start worrying - trust me! U heard it here, they'll be gone by the end of the year!!
When the big expensive lease runs out they'll be gone!!!!
I'll keep ya's posted on the Laser situation!!0
