I must admit when I answered the phone & she said who it was I feared the worst, I've only ever had bad news when a vet has phoned!

Stitches are now being removed on Saturday hopefully, can't get her there tomorrow.

I'll get some pics at the weekend but I managed to take this one this morning, it's not the best as she's got a sulk on 'cos I was trying to make her stand still :)

Not happy with the blue bandage, kinda clashes with her collar!

She sure is a beauty, and i see there is enough of her tail left for some good wags once the bandage is off.

Yep she can still catch you painfully on the leg when she wags :) but at least the stuff on the coffee table should be safe now ;)

Like I said, it's not her best pic & she is closing in on 7 years old, getting on for pension age for a DDB!
She's had 2 litters &, although I say it myself, she's wearing well for an "old girl"!

It's just made me realise that she's getting older......

Great news Paradigm, I'm sat here now waiting for a phone call from vet as my boy is not well. They have done usual bloods and pee (wasn't that fun trying to collect that!!!).

Photo looks lovely of her, does she not pose even when sulking? my boxer does he's so funny - sulk on, camera points at him sulk off, camera points away sulk back on, would love a photo of him in sulk mode but can never manage it, he can sense the camera.

I hope the phone you are waiting for brings you good news, fingers toes and paws crossed for you.

I really hope you get good news & it's nothing serious, good luck to you & your boy. What's wrong with him?

Vet has just phoned & the bone test results are clear & there was a good amount of normal tissue surrounding the tumour :)

It's looking like it was caught in time....Phew!!!!

    Thanks again everyone.

What a relief! And she is gorgeous, even with a sulk on :D
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Thanks for the wishes, got the phone call this morning, all results were normal. So they are trying anti inflammatories, think it could be hip or spine problems. He has been really bad today really struggling to get up once lying down and then can't lie down easily once he gets up.

He is looking so sorry for himself, doesn't want to leave my side just wants cuddles all the time. It's so upsetting cause he is usually so full of bounce. But he is 8 now so have to start thinking about the fact that he will start to show his age. Though he should still have plenty of years left his mom (10) and auntie (11) are still with us, and his nan was 12 when she left us.

Paradigm, hows girly? just seen photos of your two on another thread enjoying the summer in the paddling pool, and made me look up this thread to see how all is going.

How has she been since stitches came out? Hope all is going well.

I've had more results back about my boy, he has spondylisis, they are looking to send him for physio and hydrotherapy, just so long as I don't have to get in the pool with him.

    Thanks for asking.
Yes the stitches are now out & bandage off, looks pretty strange tbh :) I have some pics but just haven't had time to put them up...I'll try this weekend!

Isn't that a form of arthritis? I reckon he'll love the hydrotherapy when he gets used to it. Hope it works for him!

Oh & get the cossie on & take the plunge, could be a good laugh :)
