Hi Fozzie
What are the L'Occitane body lotions like. I've always thought I would like to try them when I need to eventually buy some more stuff but it would be a little more than I would usually pay for a body lotion so wouldn't want it to be a wasted expenditure.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

            Hi Fozzie

The L'Occitane body lotion is lovely, light with a nice fresh smell and often comes in a 500ml size as part of a QVC TSV - or on good offer at a L'Occitane Outet shop (like Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth) or very often on Ebay. http://uk.loccitane.com/FO/Catalog/Product.aspx?prod=01LC250KA&cm_vc=SearchRes
I have sensitive skin and it suits me but I know some people find it makes them itch - so definitely worth trying a small one 1st (or using the 30 day money back guarantee on QVC).
For something more moisturising, I like the L'Occitane Ultra Rich Body Cream http://uk.loccitane.com/FO/Catalog/Product.aspx?prod=01CP200K9 and they usually have that on offer in the outlet shops too......and I actualy finished one up last week......yay - go me! :rotfl:
The other L'Occitane body lotions smell lovely and are light but not what I would call DEEPLY moisturising.
I have been using a lot of Body Shop body butters recently and I think they compare well.......especially the coconut, shea butter and vitamin d.
In fact I told my family NOT to buy me L'occitane in the future  but maybe that was my guilt over the hidden boxes of Body Shop goodies I have speaking.....:o0

Fozziebear, I hope I'm not being rude but can I ask about your body lift? I need to lose a lot of weight and am assuming there will be loose skin that needs a procedure like this. Just wondered what it was like? Ignore me if you don't want to talk about it!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0

I am happy to talk about it and can bore for England on the subject!
I lost over 15 stone after a gastric bypass operation and being 50 years old now, my skin did not react well to it.........but I had been VERY large for a VERY long time, so it's not surprising.
A circumfrential body lift is just about the biggest op they can do for loose skin (in one go) so I have very long scars, right down the front from breast level to pubic level, right around my back at waist level and around the front at pubic level and scars down both hips too.
I have been incredibly lucky and not had many complications during recovery (although was pretty poorly after the op) and the rate of complication is extremely high, as the incision is so extensive.
I had the op for various medical reasons, the loose skin was causing a lot of health issues........I wouldn't have been brave enough to go through with it for cosmetic reasons!!
But I am glad I had it done :T although it was a very scary experience
Just PM me if there is something i can help with 0 0

Thank you - losing weight has saved my life, no doubt about it (trying not to fall under a bus now) :rotfl:
And thank you for not saying "do you feel better for it"?????
So many people say that to me..........
I wonder if they think I might say "no, I do NOT feel better being 15 stone lighter, I feel worse" ;);) 0 ;);) 0
