    Every session.
    what is the schedule ?

    Usually mon-fri 9:30 - 4.

Do you have a gas engineer coming? Are you ill?

Since your wife looks after the children why can't she look after a gas engineer attending? What are you having done anyway?

Most of the guidance is written on MSE. You don't attend, you can get sanctioned, loss of benefits etc.

Your not one of these long term unemployed that see having to go somewhere all day as a waste of time? You just want the money?

You must show good cause for not attending, good cause is a question of reasonableness - what would a reasonable person do in the given situation

Unless you can prove illness, often this is not considered a valid 'excuse'. You could face a loss of benefit if you do not attend the scheduled sessions.

If you know so much, why come here and ask, and be insulting! You think that people don't use illness as an excuse everyday! Get into the real world, attend your meetings (which are part of the deal for claiming the benefit n the first place), and stop trying to find excuses not to work!
  • I'm on the Flexible New Deal with Seetec - the two people I see there basically admitted they can't really help me as they're 'more used to helping people such as hairdressers and shop workers' back into work.

So why am I going again? At least it's every two weeks, and every when I show up she just brings her form over for me to sign and i'm out of there again.

sorry to sound thick but why not accept help back into work instead of being awkward? This is a genuine question.
