    Hey Josie!

I hope ebay raised some money for you. I really need to get some more bits on as the things i have are just relists at the moment!

I am not religious at all so i don't really think too much of easter other than liking the excuse for the kids to have a good time. I felt really unconfortable at the Easter thing i went to the other day. I was invited by a friend from DD's school. (our daughters are best friends). I knew it was run by the church as this friend goes to church every week and she arranged it. I just didnt realise how religious it would be. All the crafts were about making crosses and jesus signs. We had to pray twice and sing a jesus song. Each to their own but in that kind of situation where it was really in your face it makes me uncomfortable! I can't complain about it really as the kids had a great time and it was very DFW for the kids to have a free meal and activities! But when the priest came up to me and rubbed my arm asking what brought me there i could hardly say 'the free food and free crafts!'. So i just said i was invited and thought the kids would enjoy it!!!

Well done on paying off 3k from debts this year...you must be really pleased. I feel much at a stand still until we hear back from tax credits. With OH's paydrop of £200 a month we will only have about £100 left a month after all bills and food are paid for if tax credits stay the same. I have been on different websites , one said an increase of £20 a week , one said £25 a week and the actual tax credits site worked out an increase of £60 a week. Though i think this is unlikely as it is more than his paydrop!!! So just waiting to see at the moment!! Then we can work out a plan of how much we can over pay each month. Only started about a month ago and have paid the £515 i owed next so all good so far! :D

LOL @ preist thing!!!!!!!!!!! They're quite creepy sometimes! My OH is the same with me hogging the laptop, so I just tell him he hogs the TV and makes me sit through Top Gear repeats all the time so I get the laptop, honestly, who invented DAVE?????

Thanks for reading littlekel, i think we spur each other on with this!! Feels like we're the only two who read each others diaries? lol

MSE annoying me this morning, wrote two long posts on small things they got rejected so will just write on here then run. Bought two bits of furniture at charity warehouse place today, one an old rustic gateleg table for £15 and the other an armchair to recover for £15! Although the armchair probably won't ever get recovered so I purposly didn't buy the most unattractive one!!!

Got bank statement through this morning for old overdrawn account. Am doing well on clearing it down so please with that. Need to sit down and check all my numbers on cards etc, found £10 in my purse this morning!!! which I promptly spent in Mr T's, going to make some twinks hobnobs today (first time) and some more millies cookies. When I can be a55ed.

Right, can't stay on here all day, must get motivated and clean clean clean!!!! Will report back later with how I got the table off the roof of my car....lol

OMG have just made Twink's hobnobs, they are the most amazing things in the world! Better than millies cookies by far, and bonus, my house smells like hobnobs! lol
Only issue I have with them is this...the mixture tastes so nice they nearly didn't get to the oven!!!!!!

Have them all cooling on my (new but old) dining table. I have the living room window wide open, not just because it's lovely and warm, but to make the neighbours jelous with the smell!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe

Why do I gratuitously have to use exclamation marks???!!!

    Money in purse: £7.32
    Money in bank: £6.79
    Bills still to pay: £7.20
Petrol still needed: £0! :D Hopefully...
    Days til payday: 20

Right, have posted a lot today so will keep this brief! Have made more hobnobs than know what do do with, AND I haven't eaten them all yet either!

Looking drastic on the monies front but it's all OK, we have everything we need now. Just had dinner, had a tuna pasta bake with woopsied veg from Mr T's. It was a pre-prepped pack so I couldn'y freeze it. It was 55p for the pack so I took out the cauliflower and broccoli and padded out the pasta bake with and kept the prepped carrots for a snack for DD tomorrow.

Need to sit down tomorrow and do numbers... manjana, manjana (probably spelt that wrong...care to correct me la escocesa???)

Oh dear, DM has got DD into a farm game on the nintendo DS.

LOL we look as about dire as eachother on the money front!!! Also made me laugh to see how similar we are in number of posts made and number of times thanked!!!

Glad your hobnobs turned out really good!! I didn't bake with the kids today as they were told they have to tidy their rooms before we could bake and they dragged that out while fighting non stop until 4pm!!!

I would definitely say your diary is more interesting than mine!!!
