500 Tesco Clubcard points for a £6.00 spend

Went into the Aldershot store today and bought two Budget Cds but no extras points. perhaps they have closed this loophole

Went back to Tesco today and asked for my 500 points to be credited for my forever love CD's, I had a picture on my phone of them placed above the SEL that said 500 points... The women just added them and didn't even want to see the picture.

Not all tescos are bad with customer service... Just thought I would share that with you.

In addition if anyone wants the sel picture I have let me know and I will send it to them, that way you may find it easier to get your points added next time you are in store.

Had such a do in Tesco and still did not get my points. Bought 2 cd's last Wednesday and before I bought them checked with a member of staff that they were included in the deal. Have now spoken to Customer services 3 times, and to Clubcard twice and still they won't give me the points. Even the member of staff who confirmed they were in the deal could not help today. They all insist the points will appear in May.

Don't know what to do now as they won't take the cd's back, and I would not have bought them without the offer.

Think I will have to email head office and complain!!!!

all my points went on at the till.

I wonder if its to do with the size and newness of the store. i go to Tesco Extra in Warrington and got points immediately. mind you also got some at Tesco Runcorn which is ancient. hmmmmmm

I went into Boreham wood Tesco yesterday and found:

3 x The best of Judy Garland £3
4 x Scouting for Girls £3
1 x MGMT £4

They all had yellow SEL's with the name of the CD and 500 points for purchase of 2. So I bought them. No points were added to the receipt and I took them to CS. They checked the SEL's and they thought it was because I had bought 8 that it didn't show and tried refunding 2 and me rebuying 2 at a time. but that didn't work, so they just added all the points manually at the time and gave me a 'clubcard points adjustment' receipt.
So another £25 spend to get £20.50 worth of points worth £82 in deals

I bought 1 scouting for girls and a judy garland, which both had the yellow sels, no points on receipt, went to cs they said points going on in may, I just returned them for a refund.

what is the maximum amount of discs you can pick up points on?

can you pick up the points on two of the same disc? if no, can you do it in seperate transactions. i.e. disc a + disc b = 500 points, disc a + disc c = 500 points.etc. or does it all have to be different discs every time.

can you ask the staff to confirm the points will go on beefore you pay, because i dont want to pay and not get the points...

i dont want them to also turn around and say the points are void so i want to know is it such that if you have a receipt with the points on it that they for sure cannot take it from you

Bought a few album chart cds last week and got the 500 points bonus as expected. I popped in again with my friend the other night, she bought two from the bargain chart (still labled with 500 points) and I bought two cheaper ones form the main album chart. My 500 went on, her's didn't. Went to Customer Services, they added the points manually after checking the SEL said 500 points.

Went in again last night to pick up a few things and almost all the bargain chart CDs have had their SELs changed to white non promotional ones now. I think a few of them are now in the main chart however, probably so many folk buying them last week!

Bought Kings of Leon (£4) and Lily Allen (£4.50) tonight - 500 points went straight on at till. They were in the main chart as posted above.
