Went to my local. Armed with 2 x Beyonce Sasha Fierce (£6 each) and 2 x Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (£3 each). Only got 1 x 500 points (Royal Scots was in the cheapo chart but did have SEL with 500 points mention) so asked the Entertainment person. He came to see the offer labels with me and sent me to CS to sort it out and get the points added. Went to CS. Young SA, ever so sweet. Explained and she said she would put the 500 points on. Didn't even have to flutter my eye lids or pout or anything. Result or what? Woohoo!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :T my local Mr Ts.

I bought 2 £3 Scouting for Girls on Tuesday - no extra points. When removed from the security cases there was no plastic covering, so I could easily get the CDs out to have had a listen. No extra points given tho.

Took them back to store today and asked to exchange as no points had been awarded. She let me get 2 different titles, even tho the cases were open.

    Impressed.

Just back from our local store and got:

    MGMT£4
    scouting for girls £3
    lily allen £4.50
    dizzee rascal £4.50

all with yellow tags on the shelf and guess what no points when I went through the chckout so off to CS and had to march the assistant down to the shelf to show them the yellow tags so she agreed and put the points on.

Oddly I had already bought a couple of blu rays and they went straight on.

Another way to boost your points they have a deal on games, 250 points per game and in the pc section was certain games at less than £5 each.

Was'nt greedy though it would have been easy but its a nice little boost to our airmiles collection

I returned my 6 x CDs as they refused to add the bonus points due to them being added in May......yeah right! Cheeky CS said that they do not normally refund on CDs but would so on this occasion. I responded that their label was misleading to which she did not respond. Great "Customer Service"

Well done to those who managed to get the points. I guess it was not meant to be for me eh?

I went to my local Tesco today and they still had the bargain chart SELs out. I bought 6 CD's along with two from the normal chart, and as expected, I only got 1 lot of 500 points.

Fortunately a quick trip to CS sorted it out. The rep told me that it was an error, but as the items were labelled up, she had to give me the points.

I've spent around £150 and got £280 off of my November holiday. I've bought a few of the more expensive CD's as they were ones I'd be interested in anyway, but that's some hefty saving right there.

    Bit of an update.

Pitsea tesco has still got some kings of leon at £4 however some cds i got in southend, like dizee rascal and mgt no longer have the yellow SEL's for 500 points.

Also managed to pick up a psp game for £5 and sell it to CEX for £2 so 250 points for £3 outlay.

Really struggling not to be greedy but only need to spend a few more quid for 2 flights to Beijing with our airmiles.
