No extra points on Forever Love at £1 for me. Managed to get one lot of 500points on two £3 CD's. Tried later with another two and no luck!
Just read back and looks like it was the Forever Love that must have given my points, lol, not the £3 ones. Mad now there was a shelf of Forever Love, do I go back in the morning???????0 -

They havent made their millions by "mistakenly" giving us these "profitable" offers. it wouldnt surprise me if tesco paid 1p for those cd's, so are in fact making a massive profit out of us, not the other way round. Their fat cats probably chuckle to themselves all day at us spending all the money we do in there thinking we're robbing them blind.
Anyway, all i care about right now is whether my local tesco are going to have any of these c'ds left tomorrow! i shall certainly be milking this as i have the others (as far as my capital will allow) and will feel no guilt towards the poor billionaires that run tesco :rotfl:
Not really - you would be giving them money for Clubcard points under false pretences. Retailers calculate the cost of a promotion based on stock levels and it's all carefully monitored in their head offices with stock levels and sales monitored on a daily basis. They normally know the maximum amount they could sell and can estimate the maximum cost of any promotion. Most have computer systems designed to do this which is why they can know when something is going very fast, costing them too much and then pull stock off sale. Or at least they did in any retail head offices I ever worked in. Do you really think they'd happily give people endless amounts of promotion benefit based on buying the same item over and over again?
If you do, why doesn't the person who suggested it openly go into a store tomorrow and do it in full view of staff and report back to us what they say?:rotfl:
I couldn't care less about Tesco management, but I wouldn't go into a store, sneak products out of my bag, and pay for them again. That's what you'd have to do because I think any security guard or manager seeing people doing this would start asking questions.0 -

Yep, it would have been the FL cds that gave you the points. It's actually a good cd! I'd go back and buy a few more if I were you.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Managed to pick up 16 at Leyland this evening. There are plenty of £3 CDs there. £49.00 spent, and 4100 points on my card.
