after reading this post i hurried along to my nearest tesco and did buy the cheryl cole cd and the chipmonks which my daughter is very pleased with!
was going to buy cheryl cole one any way.
my nearest tesco is not very big so not much variety and nothing under £8.00 other than the chipmonks which ive now got.
i wonder whether its worth going to my nearest tesco extra?
it is 20 miles away but love to collect points!

Here is a thought, if they cant pull the £1cd off the offer and simply pull the stock off the shelf and online etc. Whats to stop people taking the £1 cd's they have already bought into tesco and re-scanning them at the self service?. Can they stop you paying for an item twice?.
Im sure thats illegal, a blatant attempt to defraud tesco and ruin it for the rest of us.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Well yes and no on that in a way. As if they have simply pulled the stock off the shelf then they are in a way fraudulently withdrawing a cd that's clearly part of an offer. What's to say they have not done this to get the customers in store, let in run for 24 hours and then stuck hundreds if the £1 cd's back in storage?. Now that would also be fraudulent in a way in order to get spending customers through the door on news of a to good to be true offer?.
Not going to try as I say as I did say that was only a thought. But trying online shopping, if they have pulled the item off the shelf in the store that deals with the online shopping then the system will still likely show the item as available and therefor sell the item and give the points. So if it's then not delivered then would we still get the points plus a refund for the undelivered item I wander?.0 -
Are the Forever Love points working on Tesco Entertaiment please? And if you put the items in your basket on a home delivery how do you know if you've got the points?0

Just been to Bursledon (Southampton) loads of forever love CD's on the end of the CD aisle and they went through on the offer.
Also picked up some PC games with 250 points on and cost under £5.
Also spotted some DS/Wii games for £10 and under with 250 points on also.
The charity shop shall do well out of my forever love CD's!!
I was there at 5ish - thought I had won the lottery in terms of Tesco points but was restrained and only bougth 8 aswell as 2 other cd's x0 -

Not necessarily. you would in fact be giving them money for no product. Tesco are not stupid you know. They havent made their millions by "mistakenly" giving us these "profitable" offers. it wouldnt surprise me if tesco paid 1p for those cd's, so are in fact making a massive profit out of us, not the other way round. Their fat cats probably chuckle to themselves all day at us spending all the money we do in there thinking we're robbing them blind.
Anyway, all i care about right now is whether my local tesco are going to have any of these c'ds left tomorrow! i shall certainly be milking this as i have the others (as far as my capital will allow) and will feel no guilt towards the poor billionaires that run tesco :rotfl:Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p0 -

Tesco can trace this as their stockcheck system will be wrong. Very easy for them to trace who bought lots of a certain item.
Think someone did this before with a points glitch (scart leads) a couple of years ago and it didn't end happily for them.
Please don't do it, will just mean Tesco pull the whole promotion early.0 -
