Remember, if you get more than 10k points very quickly, you'll flash up on Clubcard's radar and could possibly lose the points. They'll use the line "not in keeping with the spirit of the scheme" or some such crap. They've even added extra terms to cover themselves for such an issue.

"Tesco shall be entitled to set a limit on the number of points which may be awarded to each Clubcard account in respect of special promotional items on which additional points are awarded."

French, I hope you away with it, but somehow, I think you might be in for trouble with Clubcard for getting 37,500 points over the course of two days.

I accumulated 65,000 points between May and July last year buying loads of stuff with extra points (like all the wine for our wedding!) and no-one at Tesco said a word.

Points came through as normal and we had a very nice holiday in Cuba and some change.

Although some friends did think I was getting a little obsessive about points by the end :)
  • So you've just gone and got £1500 of vouchers. I hope to god you get them all taken off you. I don't care what you say about more in the back, you're just being greedy. How childish. Always some that ruin it for the rest.

I personally dont see anything wrong with it, fair play to them for actually having a brain, im going to go down to my tesco and see what i can do about this deal if its still on! :p enjoy the vouchers haha if they ever pay them that is!

It happens, believe you me. Go read the PTS website - there are plenty of people on there who have lost their points for what clubcard said was "abuse of the scheme". It's a risk you take. You were lucky.

So I was gonna go buy another 10, that would give me 7500 points in 1 day...will I flash up on there system? again, dont call me greedy...im getting married and its so expensive and we have a real tight budget so if this can help pay for the rings its one stress off my head!

No intention of calling you greedy! If you can get away with it, why not?:D I think you're safe under the 10k mark, but like I said, it's always a risk. Good luck and hope it all goes well for you.

Just been to my local store and none on display, asked the SA about it and she said "oh I have a try full of them out back, there being recalled" so I asked if I was allowed to buy them still and she said yes I will go get you one...lol...I said can I have 20, she looked at me and went and got them. I'm not being greedy honest, im getting married next year and figure I could give them as bridal favours instead of them nasty almonds coated in suger and the extra clubcard points will go towards our wedding rings :) thanks op

    Well done you!

**note to all the knockers, get off yer asses, use your brains and go get em instead of sitting on here whinging**

PS I've been points collecting for a few years now and know how to stay under Mr T's radar ;)

In other words, you spread the purchases over a number of cards.
