Today's been my fourth NSD this month.
:j:j
Glorious day here today ... the sort of weather perfect for sitting in a pub garden relaxing over a long lunch and a glass of wine... Not very DFW though
so settled for my paperback and a flask of coffee sat in the nearby park for an hour!!!!

Managed NSD number 4 today :T
I was seriously tempted to go out for some cream to go with some mince pies I found in a cupboard (while looking for something to give me a sugar boost), but managed to talk myself into waiting until tomorrow/Tuesday when I'll need to spend for more milk anyway. Had a M@rs I got from App Foods a few weeks ago insteadCheryl0 -
NSD number 2 for me - been so busy walking everywhere and helping out at an Easter egg hunt in the park had no time to go and spend anything - am quite glad to be going back to work tomorrow cos it's much easier not to do any spending when you can't get out to the shops and by the time you get home you're too tired to want to go out again!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
Emergency fund £1000/£1000

Hi everyone, another NSD for me today. Looks like I missed all the troll-zapping fun on here yesterday, glad you shooed it away!
Am feeling rotten today, been snuffling and sneezing all afternoon and my eyes are streaming grrr. So I'm off to get my pjs on, grab a hot chocolate and curl up on sofa with my book (until Corrie that is)
Tomorrow I have a dentists appointment so no NSD.
Hope you all have a lovely evening xxxxx

Have a read of THIS. Someone posted the link on another thread, but the article is oh so pertinent to us on here!
See? We're not as barmy as folk would have us
Oh my god , that is exactly me, after a bad day Friday i have spent all weekend & now feel rubbish with myself... it's amazing how 1 bad day has undone pretty much all my money saving for this month :mad:solventsoon wrote: »Hi everyone
butdoineeedit?: well done for today, but arrrggggh to having to spend on postage again tomorrow:eek:..... have you thought about setting some money aside at the beginning of the week for postage and taking any that you need during the week from that? Might help you with your NSDs?
spoon x
Spoon have thought about this, but i can't promise i won't cheat if i do.
I use spending as an emotional crutch for just about anything, so i guess even going to the post office will do if i can't spend anywhere else (& i'll guarantee i'll end up in the supermarket buying something out of my postage money & pretending i didn't do it!!)
I need to learn to do other things to make me feel good. There's so much to do around the house & garden, not all of it free (or even cheap to be fair), but when i do get stuck into the free stuff i feel great, & if i stopped spending on rubbish i'd have the money to pay for some of the non free stuff that needs doing... like central heating & a kitchen!!
Am setting a target on here & praying reporting back to you guys will keep me on track!! No spend days at all this week, other than drinks with a friend (which is different in my world, parting with money in the pub is so much different to parting with money in a shop, maybe cos i don't get to take stuff home with me????). Am starting by defrosting 2 rashers of bacon to take my own sandwich tomorrow morning when we meet for breakfast in the canteen, with my sensible head on i can see how buying one is just such a waste of money :A
Sorry for the long post all, but thanks for listening, i feel so much better for having admitted this out loud!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
A NSD yesterday - that makes a miserly 2 this month so far !!!0
