Morning everyone -
First of all - Butdoineedit - read your posts and you know we've all been there! Like the others have said, if you cant vent here where can you vent? Sorry to hear about your ex, I know how that feels, but strengthen your resolve, you can rise above these wee setbacks and move on. I believe things happen for a reason and I reckon something better will come along for you. In the meantime - HUGS! :A
Im hoping for a NSD today, dont need anything and OH still poorly. Will maybe go to the library but thats it. Finished my knitted blanket yesterday, dog loves it:rotfl:! Started a wee baby hat just to try out different stitches, my Mum knits for charity so if its any good I'll put it in with her bundle. Spoon - youre right it is so addictive and KEEPS ME OUT OF THE SHOPS!;)
Have a great day everyone !:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Morning all
Thank you so much everyone for your support, i was staggered to log on quickly this morning & find so many kind words, you guys really are an amazing bunch!! :A
Well done everyone on your NSD's, :T just proves it can be done & i'll get there with time....
Today is a new day & i will do it, bacon under the grill as we speak & i intend to come straight home from work & not spend a penny, had some ebay sales last night, but am going to wait till they are all paid so i only have to make 1 trip to the post office, which i will do in my lunch break so no chance for any extra spending.
As for the ex - god help that ivy tonight, i think it will definitely get the brunt of my frustration!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

Fingers crossed the decluttering kept you away from the shops today, although you do seem to get some fantastic bargains from the whoopsies. Update - well done for no 4 :j- no whoopsies then... oooh a M@rs.. not had one of those for ages:(
) this morning !!! I'm finding that if I buy 1x4pt he finishes it in a couple of days, but if I buy 2 at a time he ends up tipping half the second one after a week as "it's gone off" - even though it tastes fine in my tea. But as he prefers full-fat and I drink skimmed or semi, I don't really want to spend a week or more on his. I actually use very little milk myself, so got a few boxes of the hotel room type 'portions' (from App Foods), and one tub lasts me 4 or 5 mugs of tea.....
The M@rs aren't the normally ones - I don't like those. But App Foods had the limited edition 'dark' ones which I love, so it would have been rude not to stock up when I was getting my milk (and small bottles of pop for work, and flavoured croissants for brekkie, and risotto meals, and .......)Cheryl0 -
Morning Butdoineedit!
Have a good day and remember we are all rooting for you. As for your Ex.......I know it doesn't feel it at present, but you've had a lucky escape. He's someone elses pathetic excuse for a man at the mo ... But sounds like he never really sticks around anyway
Onwards and upwards! Wear something you feel good in today and think 'sx godess'!0 -
Had NSD4 on Friday - little spends on weekend x0

ah Butdoineedit, that's nearly a Scottish name!!!!, except it would be butdoahneedit?
I can sympathise totally with the household stuff, when we had out new kitchen installed last year (in the bad old spendaholic days) my OH found 13 bottles of assorted bleach and loo cleaning products, 7 washing up liquids and enough washing tablets to do the whole of the olympic washing for the duration. Now the upsiade is that since I had my LBM, I haven't bought any of this stuff, so saving money weekly and still got loads to use. I'm feeling very Pollyanna this morning, it must be the sun.

Looks like our night out couldn't have come at a better time
It'll be something to put a smile on our faces as we trudge thru the mire that is Real Life, & others will wonder if we've got feather-lined nix as we wander about spontaneously grinning, like..like..like things that grin a lot
Sorry to bring this up but I'm actually on 6 nsds now Solvent. My fault for not giving it a bit of zoosh but I'll remember for next time

Morning all :hello:
Well no NSD for me yesterday and won't manage one today either  Was on track for one yesterday until DH asked me to go to Mr. T's for something for him whilst he was at work. So of course I spent more while I was there...:wall:
Oh well, still only the 12th so still time to make target
butdoineedit? - just wanted to send you a hug. Been there, done that & I know it sucks. I know it will get better too though. Keep looking forwards xx :kisses3:
Hope everyone has a great day

However I can now start looking towards a time when the only person I have to worry about is me, due to the fact DS is moving in with my parents when he starts Uni later this year. Even though I can be a fussy so-and-so with what I will/won't eat, I'm nowhere near as fussy as him - so lots more potential for stocking up from App F00ds and the like coming up
And I've found that my passion for chocolate, crisps etc has diminished greatly over the last few years - in fact since my income wouldn't stretch to buying 2 or 3 choccy bars plus crisps every day  The M@rs bars are in full view of me, but I'm still only having a couple a week - so definitely being used as treats rather than everyday snacks.Cheryl0 -
I'm going to try really hard today to make today the 11th NSD of the month! However, it's got to the stage where I really want to spend something, just for the sake of spending, and I shouldn't! I shall confirm later
Good luck to everyone today!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
