  • Hi All

not an NSD to-day, fell into Iceland and was assailed by several boxes of cakes, don't how it happened but ended up spending £5. I think I must have forgotten the aliens and went off on autopilot, plus it was Iceland so it was cheap stuff.

Yay i did it. Today was NSD 4 for me!!!! :j :j :j

Tough day, but i came home for lunch to regroup, which meant i could forage for chocolate in the "naughty drawer" rather than spending & sadly enough an episode of Judge Judy over lunch even sent me back to work smiling!!!! :D

Ebay posting day tomorrow, but everything's going in one go, so will be the only one this week & definitely going to do it at dinner to keep me out of the supermarket.

Still seething at the insensitivity of men (well one in particular), but feeling too tired to have another sleepless night & i can guarantee that the bit of ivy i attacked with a saw is hurting far more than me!!!!!

Big hugs to you all for the support :grouphug:

So, I managed to leave my purse in a carrier bag yesterday so 'forgot' my purse at home. Thankfully, I took my lunch in again today. So, another NSD today taking my total to 6!

    Not bad so far.

Well, no NSDs yesterday or today :(

I had planned on getting milk yesterday, but spent a bit too long in the greenhouse and when I emerged, it was after 4! However, I still thought we could have made today an NSD as I found our last carton of UHT skimmed milk (family don't really like it, straight), but adding some dried milk power and mixing it with the reamining milk makes it OK apparently. We would have had enough for today and tomorrow morning...until DS1 texted to say he was coming home tonight!! He drinks quite a lot of coffee, as well as having hot milk at bed-time...not to mention the copious quantities that are consumed at breakfast!!

Oh well, such is life...I am doing pretty well to have got 5 under my belt already. I got DH to stop off at Aldi on his way home and get various things (F&V, milk, yogs fish), so we are very well stocked up now.

DS2 has a check-up at the dentist tomorrow which I will have to pay for, so I will get some eggs and more veg from the green-grocers nearby. That will do us until the end of the week when we should only need milk (and maybe more veg).

Here's hoping for at least 2 NSDs before the weekend! :D

It was an almost NSD today - I bought a couple of birthday cards ... and a hot sausage roll mid-morning from work :o which I know I shouldn't have but I was starving despite having had breakfast! And it was so yummy :rotfl: ... the banana I had in my lunch box just wasn't going to be as good :o
