I do that and it’s great, I use skimmed and it doesn’t last as long as full-fat or semi, found I was throwing loads away, I don’t anymore. It definitely would have been rude not to stock up on those lovely dark M@rs, especially as AF got them in specially for you;).....
I actually find that the skimmed keeps for much longer than the others, but DS won't touch it at all - and only drinks semi under sufferance when there's nothing else in the house.
I thought the same about the M@rs - it was like they were there just for me, so I grabbed the opportunity while I could
After buying milk & cream in the morning, I picked up a few Whoopsies as I left work (including bread, which I'd forgotten we needed) - and then had to go back down after tea, as it was only while cooking I realised I only had enough frozen veg for one more day..... so I squashed freezer contents around so I could restock on that last night, rather than risk losing an NSD purely for that later in the weekCheryl0 -

....This challenge is fantastic.
It is actually making me think about what I spend my money on ... and at the moment, I can't believe I don't want to spend anything. Had to buy a new garden hose and jet power wash yesterday and was upset that I had to spend money. Can't believe I am the same person and am actually enjoying not spending money more than I use to enjoy spending it. Thanks to everyone on this thread for keeping me motivated.:T
I really don't know what I would have been doing without this Challenge. Like yesterday, I could have easily walked into the supermarket for the milk I was frightened of running out of [we haven't :T] & the couscous I forgot last week [but didn't need for our evening meal :T] & would have spent at least £20 just on things I thought I hadto get between 11am yesterday & whatever time I go out today
It all points back to how previous generations had to manage with restricted shopping hours-- 9 - 5.30, half day Weds & Sat & no Sunday opening & definitely no internet  And, of course, hardly anyone had a bank account so no access to over-draught or credit cards either..sounds like bliss in a way doesn't it
I'm off to read SF's diary & have a think about what a nine year old boy might find interestingBefore I go tho, MotherShipton & *sung Adam Faith style please* "I am haaaff-weigh
to Target-pleeez; ssso nee-ar, yet sso-faa er-weighhhh". I :heartsmil fifties & sixties music, deffo born too late but enjoy the majority of toons apart from jazz & opera really.
In other words, can you clock me on 7 please Solvent?

No. 7 for me yesterday :j However, we had a major disaster with one of our cars - I don't even want to think about how much a new (to us) one will cost
I've been on a 'spending' roll today - school fees for one child  school photos for another  football club  language classes  packet of crisps x 2, actually that was the easiest bit of my day so far! I didn't need to do it all today but figured that I would get it over and done with today.
And I want a third childNo wonder DH goes a bit  every time I mention it.
