Spoon are you ok? hope your carp day hasn't been too bad?
No off the ivy tonight, decided to let the million cuts & scratches on my hands heal (if only i would remember gloves!!), but i have itemised the freezer instead... no excuses now i know i buy loads of stuff cos i can't be bothered to look in the bottom of the freezer to see if i've got one so now i know.
Spent today, but quite proud of myself as nothing that wasn't necesary.
Ebay postage, which i've already been paid for, a birthday present for a girl in the office, the collection came from everyone i just did the shopping cos was going that way, butter & eggs to bake cake for said birthday girl (ok cos ingredients cheap enough & i love baking, call it therapy!!), milk for the office (can claim back on expenses) & office biscuits cos i ate the last pack singlehandedly on Friday when i was having a bad day & PMT!!!!
So spent about £8 including my present contribution, but will get the milk money back.
Planning for NSD tomorrow, will be coming straight home from work to have a chocolate fudge cake baking fest!!! :jcurlygirl1971 wrote: »My idea of a treat is to get home, draw the curtains, PJ's on and a darn good film. Oh yes, the best treat ever, was pj'd up by 5.30 tonight!!!!!
Am loving this NSD lark now, & everyone on here, you're the best!! :T :T :TFebruary NSD challenge 5/150 -

JES-F1: well, it was nearly an NSD, that’s better than nothing... hot sausage roll... I’m having hallucinations now..... Good luck for the rest of the week:)
Thank you... It wasn't an NSD today as met a friend after work and bought her a birthday drink - a glass of wine each and we got the rest of the bottle free (paid less than £6) so feel I got a bargain!
No hot sausage roll today - I just daydreamed about it while I ate my homemade tuna pasta salad! :rotfl:
Tomorrow should be NSD though.Debt Jan 2008: £45,566. *** June 2013: DEBT FREE! ***
Paid back just under £50,000 due to some interest added.
Dealt with my debt through a Step Change (CCCS) DMP.

Today wasn't an NSD for me - 'cos I made the fatal mistake of clocking what might hang around long enough to become Whoopsied merchandise this evening as I was leaving work just after 5pm...... and the even more fatal mistake of going back to see if enough of them had survived to make it worth losing my NSD
Bought a couple of full price items (BOGOF B@ttenberg for DS - he loves it and hasn't had it in almost a year - and a special offer/half price Wholemeal loaf from the bakery), but other than that everything was Whoopsied.
2xbaguettes (1 seeded for me, 1 plain Parisienne for DS), 1 pack raspberry donuts (mine and long since eaten), 1 organic brown loaf to try, 1 pack fish pie pieces (best bargain of the night - reduced from £2.49 to 29p), 2 sausage rolls, 1 cheese & onion roll, 1 individual apple lattice pie, 1 pack of 2 Steak & Ale pies (seems like I've been waiting forever for these to get to Whoopsied status so I can try them), 1 pack of 2 chunky steak pies (my faves) and 3 (yes, 3) packs of 2 potato and meat pies.
Think I'm going to have to spend the rest of this evening and part of tomorrow unpacking, defrosting and repacking my freezers, as there's no way I'm going to be able to shoe-horn 10 more pies into them without doing so
Still, I'm not going to beat myself up. Total spend came to £5.85, and of that £3.86 was on goods with original prices of £15.58 - so a whopping Whoopsie saving of £11.72, which is just more than double what I actually spent
Saw a post in the last few days - I think it was on this thread - where someone mentioned her shopping weakness was black skirts...... Whilst getting on with decluttering yesterday and today I've realised mine must be black trousers!!! Other than the 2 pairs I've got specifically for work, I've already found (and put together to remind myself just how little justification there is for buying any more) another 6 pairs  And that's not counting my two (or is it 3?) pairs of black jeans eitherCheryl0 -
Reached number 6 today somehow. Had family round yesterday and today so am surprised I managed one. Supposed to be meeting up with friends tomorrow but dont have much money left plus im feeling lazy. May just go for a bit or rearrange. Have already told them i may not be able to come so will see what happens. Dont want to be anti-social. What would others do in this situation?MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0
