Morning everyone
Today definitely won't be a NSD or even a LSD for me. I'm going to buy a dress & shoes for one of the weddings I'm going to in May. Have a dress I wore to one last year I can wear for the other. I think it will be £34 if I can get the ones I saw in Matalan on Sat & I have a £5 off voucher. Will need to get petrol too.
Bought a couple of bits off ebay last night:o so paid for them & ebay fees this morning too.
Hope everyone has a lovely day today.

Thank you so much everyone for your support, i was staggered to log on quickly this morning & find so many kind words, you guys really are an amazing bunch!! :A
Well done everyone on your NSD's, :T just proves it can be done & i'll get there with time....
Today is a new day & i will do it, bacon under the grill as we speak & i intend to come straight home from work & not spend a penny, had some ebay sales last night, but am going to wait till they are all paid so i only have to make 1 trip to the post office, which i will do in my lunch break so no chance for any extra spending.
As for the ex - god help that ivy tonight, i think it will definitely get the brunt of my frustration!!
Great to see you feeling so positive this morning - hang on in there, you'll make it and we're all right behind you.
That poor ivy - I'm feeling sorry for it already..
Hugs

Hello  have been MIA for a few days with one thing or another. Just caught up (again) with the thread. Glad to see that everyone has been busy not spending
I'm looking very good for NSD No. 7 today, very pleased with myself and feeling a bit :A. Slow cooker is bubbling away, washing's done and children have something to do this afternoon so no chance to get to the shops at all!
I'll report in later on xxCC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999
NSDs March 1/200 -
Just reporting in to say i have 4NSD's done so far this month.
Still struggling to get that far - seems to me that the only strategy that works is to leave the purse at home!
My main problem is frittering away a £ here and there on total carp that i cant account for. Also buying snacks when hungry.
Best Wishes All

Morning everyone!
Glad to see everyone feeling better this morning, especially butdoineedit? I am feeling sorry for your ivy though, there's nothing quite like the rage an ex can cause
I've shipped step-son off to MIL's for the morning so I can get on with the housework, then trying to think of a free activity we can do this afternoon to make up for his boring afternoon yesterday - do kids get to go swimming for free? I'm a bit new at this parenting lark!
Not sure if today will be a NSD or not yet, would be nice to do 3 in a row, but might get a few groceries in today so the rest of the week should all be NSDs when I'm back at work. Also saw someone mention on the grocery challenge thread that the co-op chickens are half price again, very tempting. Will report back later, have a good day everyonexx

What age group are we looking at to entertain Kate? Do you have cereal boxes, loo roll tubes, egg boxes etc you could 'liberate' to produce a handsome transformer/ robot/ rocket/ racing car, with the help of a bit of sticky tape & copious amounts of tin foil?
Or there's devising a weather station is science is an interest; football league table [if you don't mind them using your poota]; bit of gardening, with their own little bit to be nurtured--that can become a competition to see whose carrots/ sunflower/ lettuce grows first/ biggest?
Are there any local parks or walks, that you could take a little picnic of a piece of fruit & a bottle of squash, then draw the flowers & you have to identify them when you get back. Research local history? Find items from around the house that begin with every letter of the alphabet?Give them a notebook & ask them to index your dvd/cd collection?

Mine are in the garden in the sun....haven't heard the dreaded 'B' word today yet ('bored' in case you're wondering)
Butdoineedit?:Sorry, I've never been in that situation so can't say I know how you feel, but I'm sending you lots of hugs & kisses.
