I've always wondered about that phrase! I reckon a monkey would have a field day and as you were slowly, slowly creeping up on him, he'd stay perfectly still and just as you thought you were about to catchy monkey, he'd be off like a whippett, laughing like a hyena, and you'd be left looking daft and hunting for a different phrase
I postponed my mystery shopping until tomorrow as I have to be in the city centre then anyway. No plans on going out, but am in clothes swap/partial swap negotiations online. They could become critical at any point this evening, so best hold off declaring now (part on my negotiations will hopefully be waiting until tomorrow to pay if I do go for it).

Bit confused about the alien. Nothing against minority groups.........But won't he stand out a bit if we take him with us......or would he just blend in with all those who've had too many Babysh4ms ( remember them?) and are feeling a bit green about the gills?Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Another NSD today - think that's number 10 for me :T
One more to get, and 4 days until month end. Quietly confident I can make it (and possibly manage an extra 1 or 2), though given the rate DS is getting through the milk I picked up yesterday I'll probably have to get some more of that before month end
Bread may also become a necessity on Wed/Thur, but if I can be bothered to set up my bread maker I can get around that one by making my own...... though DS will then get through that at the same speed he gets through the milk, so I'd probably end up having to use the machine twice
Only other thing I can quickly spy I'm running short of is frozen veg, but may just scrape through if I'm careful with meal choices (though I also need to avoid anything that requires garlic bread or chips, as I've none of those in the house either). Think I have enough sweetcorn for 4 days, but will be tight to get 3 days from the peas. I do have some stand-by tins of veg, but neither DS nor I particularly like them so I tend to only use if I can't get out for frozen (or am utterly, totally and completely skint)Cheryl0
