Then they get a nice clean loo back, seemples. So we'll send the alien in first to do the clearing out................

    Good morning all,
I haven't been online all work as have been really busy at work and getting home absolutely shattered. The upside to that is I haven't spent any money apart from one day for food shopping. So I now have21 NSDs. I have one more NSD day to get to my target of 22 but it is going to be a difficult one as I will be spending for the next three days (tomorrow going shopping to buy myself an outfit for my birthday, got birthday lunch on Wednesday and then going to Champneys on Thursday - although this has already been paid for I've got to buy my train tickets). I am hoping that I can hit my target on the last day of the month. Cutting it close I know but I'm still aiming to hit it.
I've not had a chance to catch up on all the posts but its so wonderful to see so many hitting hitting their targets. I'll have a proper read at the weekend. Have a great day everyone.

    Hya all

Just back from MIU, looks like my big toe may be broken, at the tip, but they are not sure. Have to go back tomorrow to see the consultant to see what he says (no doctors, only nurses today).

I was told off for not going to MIU/A&E on either Friday or Saturday though...consider me suitably chastened. :( It's just that I was in hospital soooo many times last year, I just didn't want a trip there for such a seemingly silly thing!

Mind you, I have had a tendency to ignore breakages in the past! I only found out I had broken my foot (coming off a bike), when I re-broke it 6 weeks later (dancing the sailors' hornpipe in a pub @ lunch-time - don't ask!!)!! Then doctors took 3 weeks to decide that I had indeed broken my back (the sacrum). In the mean-time, I had travelled 300 miles north to Scotland, got married, then travelled south over 400 miles and started a new job!!!:eek:

I suppose with my track-record, we should have known better!! :D

I am off to soak my foot and see if I can release some of the blood that is trapped under the nail...looks like it has co-agulated though - not looking forward to it. Then it's back to the bag of ice!

Have to report that today is not an NSD unfortunatley, as DH has posted a couple of parcels on his way to work after the hospital trip. One is a birthday present for Wednesday, so it had to go today.

Oh well, perhaps the rest of the week will be spend-free.

    Have a great day folks.

Well I'm going to shut my big gob - my willpower deserted me on the way to the library and I bought a book that's been on my reading wish list for ages. The library didnt have it ( unusual) and I didnt want to pay full price ( oh no no no!) but I spotted in the BHF charity shop for £2 so I succumbed! It is for charity after all, so my guilt is assuaged a little!
From there I went to the Coop for bananas and bread so that was another £2.50.
However I did enjoy my walk in the sunshine( free);)

    • I'll throw men out of loo's,might be a bit out of practice but I'm sure I won't hurt too many of them getting back into the habit{sure it use to be the only reason I use to get invited out by some people:rotfl:}. Poor alien!! Cleaning a gent's. Got home to find strange men on the back garden I made them jump when I said what do u want + who r u? turned out to be police looking 4 drugs:eek: they chased lad down path behind garden + he threw the drug', thank goodness they found them further down the road. Only managed 5 NSD's this month, which is really terrible! Need to plan my spends better, looking at my spending diary I'm spending little amounts most days IYSWIM. Must try and get petrol/along with shopping etc.

Number 17 for me today please! I bought a hoodie but it came out of spare shrapnel from savings so it doesn't count! (and I did bank and move over £85 so I think the £6 was well justified :) )
