Well yesterday was NSD 14.
I'm stuggling more this month than usual. Think it's all these sunny days which have made me sort out the garden and the bits of DIY (3 of my spend days have been on plants and 2 on DIY stuff:eek:) but i look at them as one off spends and at least if i'm gardening or DIYing then i'm not spending! (hence i haven't posted for a while)
Think i'll take a leaf out of Bigmumma's book 2day and sow some edible stuff (fortunately already got the seed from last year, just hope it grows)
It's great to read how well everyone's doing and keep up the good work:j"A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist." Franklin Jones0 -

I'm here, I'm here!
Missed yesterday, why I dont know! Got another NSD on Friday, so that's me up to 13! Small spend yesterday on groceries but wont need anything till the end of the week. Should be another today, so my goal this week is to have 4 in a row!! :rotfl:Lets see shall we?
Knitting merrily away, up to five hats now, just started a wee cravat style scarf to go with the hat Ive just finished. Its so cute as its small for a wee tot!
Thanks for all the support folks! Have a wonderful day!:A

Hope the newly-weds enjoyed their special day yesterday & can't wait to see the photos x
Pleased to announce no 16 & now I'm thinking about how many to aim for next month...there's two birthdays & two Bank Holidays--we've made initial plans for a barbie this coming w/e with our neighbours, to aim for Sat then if it's wet we've still got Sun & Mon left--but then May is 31 days....decisions decisions...
A bit damp here so not a lot being done outside today; no-one was around to make the holes in my planters so maybe that can get sorted today, who knows. Enjoy the rest of the week-end folks, whatever you're doing.

Today is going to be another spend day -- got home from OH's about 45 mins ago to discover DS not only had his pizza (planned), but managed to finish all the milk as well
I'd spent the trip home trying to figure what I could do for tea (would have to be rice or pasta as I've no spuds or chips in the house), only to find I have to spend anyway..... so will be picking up the potatoes for the week, and rethinking what we're having for tea
The take-away place OH mentioned was the one I used years ago, and it seemed to tickle him that it was a place I already knewThe pizzas from there (which I managed to pay most of the bill for - let him pay some as we were picking up one for his DS as well) were just as good as I remembered from 20 years ago too

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a good weekend. Just popped on to declare NSD number 7. I've no plans to go out of the house so no chance of temptation.
Good luck for the final week of the month! :A0 -

I am NOT a happy B today, last year I had 3 big stand's of blackberries I could get freebie fruit from on my walk to and from work, last year 2 got ripped out but I thought not a problem there's still 1 left, walking up to it this morning and found contractor's ripping that out as well:mad:. Oh well I made good use of them for the last 8/9 year's, there is a stand about a mile away from where I live in the next village I'll have to go and see if I can beat some of them to the freebie harvest but I don't think so cause they walk past it every day like I did with mine.[ sorry to rant] Good news to finish on though it was a NSD for me.:)£71.93/ £180.000
