Been another vlsd today - had to go to community St George's day celebrations and dd fleeced me for tombola money and raffle - apart from that haven't spent a penny!

Back at work tomorrow so should be no spending tomorrow - I knew there was a reason I turned up there every day. Just got to do one more for my target - then maybe squeeze a couple more in before the end of the month

Well, no NSD today as DS2 discovered he had run out of Lu****de, despite telling me last week he had loads left!! He needs an energy drink for when he gets a hypo (Type 1 diabetic), so DH nipped off to Mr T and managed to get the own-brand version....fantastic, as our little Metro, has never had it before! DH got milk and some veg, like I asked, so although toady wasn't an NSD, most of the rest of the week should be!:j With only £6.49 left, it havd better be!!

As tothe saga of my bashed toe..I did try to make a hole in my nail, but my back was too sore to stay bent over long enough to get through the nail completely (a few false starts peppered over the nail now :rotfl:). Also, I reckon the blood has coagulated so even if I had got through the nail, nothing would have come out.
    :o

Sorry if this is upsetting some of you. DH has decided we ought to go to the MIU tomorrow morning, to check that it isn't broken and see if they can do anything to relieve the pressure in the toe...will let you know what they say (and do).

We have just had the mother of all rainstorms...for only 10 minutes...it was lovely while it lasted, and my headache has lifted. Will still have to get DH or DS2 to water the plants in and out of the greenhouse tonight though.

Off to have another lie down...have slept quite a bit today, after doing some baking this morning (sitting on a stool mostly).

    See you tomorrow.

I've had my 9th NSD today. I'm not sure I'll manage 3 more in 5 days - although I'll give it a go. I'm finding the change in routine quite difficult. But am loving the new job (and will soon be getting paid for my first couple of weeks)!
  • Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Looks like lots of targets will be reached this month.

_pale_ to your poor toe Keiss21. DS2 has a fingernail falling off at the moment but only half of it is dead so he keeps catching the other half when he gets dressed. I keep putting plasters on but you know what 5 year olds are like.......:)

Missed yesterday as had some sort of 24hr virus. Was feeling cold but sweating, my legs felt like lead and I have a lump in my throat the size of a golfball:eek:! Going to bed now so I'm OK for tomorrow.

Due to above have now reached my 2nd target of 18 NSD's :T
Not sure how much longer I can keep this going, think there's maybe 2 or 3 more in me yet!
Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

  • Hi,
Not been on for a whole week!! Fortunately, I have NOT been busy spending :)
I have managed 6 NSD's this week, which brings me up to 16 :)
Actually, it is fairly easy to get nsd's when you have no money to spend anyway :( Have weekly food budget and that's it at the mo. Am even managing to save a bit from the budget :)
Hope to pop in more often this week.

    Still too much debt :(
