I have caught the whoopsie bug, was buying allowable newspaper in co-op when I became fixated on the whoopsie pile, 4 big rump steaks for £2.60, 24 meatballs for 99p and 2 huge choccy muffins for 49p then OH dragged me to checkout as was getting carried away by the whoopsie bug. You know, I would have walked past before and bought the full price stuff. I think my head has been transplanted by these aliens from the planet MSE.
OH got his new phone zzzzz zzzzz he can make phone calls on it and other things zzzz zzzz But no NSD for me to-day as i was caught by the whoopsies................

  • Claiming today as an NSD today. That makes 3 NSD's to date. This month is not going brilliantly well.

Well done all you guys who are keeping on track .

Not an NSD for me today, even if OH pays for the take-away pizza tonight.... but it's really my turn as he paid for the Chinese eat-in last month. Can't remember the last time I had a take-away, but I'm pretty certain the place he said he uses is the one I used when I lived in the same area (87-91) -- and their pizzas are totally out of this world smiley-face-drool.gif

However, DS likes pizza too -- and sometimes "hints" we don't have it as often as we used to. I'm not bothered about it as much as he is, and with me having one tonight I'm not likely to think to do at home for another few weeks.

So we stopped at Mr T on the way home from the Uni trip (booorrrrrrring waste of a day with OH, but an essential to show my support for and interest in DS's education), and picked up one of their large Value pizzas for DS to cook for his tea (still didn't mention I'm having a take-away one, as he'd have been after the money to "nip" to one of the many local places if he knew ;) )

Also picked up a couple of packs of value ham (don't like the cheap stuff from Mr M), and a couple of french sticks for lunch as DS wanted something to munch on while I was filling the car with fuel (another £45 gone there, but not a spend with regards to this challenge).

Had a lovely spending day yesterday, saw the physio, then went out for the rest of the day with a friend. Needless to say, money was spent...but mainly presents for various people, as well as lunch out...did get some food essentials too though.

Declaring today as NSD number 13,nearly there, only 2 more to my target!! :j:j

Hope to make tomorrow another NSD too...in fact most of next week will be mostly NSDs for me I expect, DH will have to do the shopping instead, so there will be one or two SDs I expect...with ony £11.66 left to go, it's going to be tight....but possible methinks!! :D

I am suffering today I am afraid. Last night, an offcut of our solid oak kitchen work-top fell onto one of my feet and crushed my big toe (the others aren't too happy either!!). Today the nail is all black & blue and still very painful, it will come off eventually I suspect :(:(. I have to have it raised as the blood pressure when the foot is down just makes it far too sore.

So I am restricted to lying on the sofa watching the snooker (go Steve Davis...what a match!!) or sitting in the conservatory on the computer or sewing...what a drag :D!!

Luckily I don't have any work until May 1st, I should be able to wear some form of footwear by then. At the moment I can only wear my fluffy slipper/boots...and they are a bit hot atm!! :o

Right off to lie down for a bit...enjoy the wonderful weather everyone.
