Sneaks back in, spent the last few days drowning in tea as well as ordering materials and discussing the project with numerous builders and I ended up with no time to keep up with what is happening here or odering tartan baseball boots. My new role as tea lady is stopping me from leaving the house resulting in 18 NSD's

Yay ... well done BB - no 18 is brilliant!! I think you might be heading up the race for the finish line now (neck and neck with sf I think..)

Hope the tea making is going OK and the building project even better :)

  • Reporting in with No. 13 for yesterday :j Don't like that number so determined to make today No. 14 :rotfl: Part of the family is out already, running errands and shopping. DC and I are at home until just after lunch then we're off to a birthday party. I'm not dressed yet so there will be no diversions en route.

Need to get some ironing done, bit of work and wash the floors before we go so must get on.

  • Don't think I can manage the last wee elusive one to-day as going out to search for new (cheaper) contract for OH's phone (oh the excitement PDD drops off in a corner). so may have to have a coffee to get over the complete boredom, but will try harder.

Whoo-Hoo! Really really hopes this works out. x
& i just have to share this quote with you cos i love it....
Having a guy dump you and say "We can still be friends" Is like having your mom say "Your dog died but you can still keep it" :rotfl:Lie-kitt! :T
I'm definitely going to remember this the next time ex phones for a friendly conversation that leaves me in bits!!!

& on the hat theme, i've been baking tonight, knocked up a few of these if anyone would like one....link doesn't work for me :(
*Blows football ref's whistle & climbs on poofy again* Wedding Day Chaps, so are we organised?
*raises clip-board & adjusts spex* Hats?
feiertag-smiley-014.gifButton-holes? :happyloveTorn up MrT receipts from the weekly shop? [can't find a smilie for that :o] Good! See you at the church!*wobbles & falls off poofy*

I've made appropriate arrangements for pet sitters; we've an opinionated green iguana who looks down her nose at us, & a dotty english bull/staffie X who thinks he's part mountain goat or auditioning for the parrot in Treasure Island :rotfl:Mind, Iggie likes to sit on your shoulder too, or will play toupee if you ask nicely :p I would have brought Iggie & pretended she was my hat, but was concerned she'd eat Kate's bouquet  Would have made for a very low spend day for me tho, as Pup eats proper food so could have feasted on the cocktail sausages & pork pies, while Iggie snaffled the table decorations & Mother's Flowers..must take them next time :shhh:

HB Elfin--May all your Dreams become reality for you x

Can you put me down for another nsd please Spoon--15 now :D & still counting! Weather is looking not at all bad & I think I may just start the pots off in the hopes something edible will grow this year :( I have awful black thumbs where others have glorious green fingers, but if it's only enough to give Iggie some fresh salad I'll be more than chuffed
