I have had a NSD today.Free Films in 2011: Tangled, Chalet Girl, Never Say Never, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
No Buying Books in 2011 - Books read: 60 -
Katenut have a great day, hope the weather stays nice and best wishes for the futureHHhmm--sounds like a plan...I'll have to sort out a sleeping bag & find the pump for the blow-up mattress--pencil me in for 'tea, milk no sugar & a bowl of bran flakes & figs' please
While we're talking about all of this *stands on suedette poofy & whistles shepherd-style* is there anyone close by LfV, cuz she's got NO-BODY to travel with boom-boom [see p.47 post 929] *climbs down & fetches 6" nail & tin of spaghetti hoops to re-attach fringing*
Nice one :T:T:T:rotfl:
I was going to go with this one. Goes best with my outfit and I have a bathroom all to myself - no queueing :j.
Was thinking of this myself.......just thought, you could borrow my shiny boots, they would be an excellent colour match.
NSD 16 today but only because the handle fell off my front door (true story:eek:). DH went out to work, tried to close the front door and the handle fell off in his hand. Phoned the door company as it was still within the ten year guarantee and they said an engineer could come round tomorrow between 9am and 1pm! I can't lock the door and I can't open it either. We had a delivery from Argoose this afternoon and I had to leave a note on the door saying that I would be coming out from the back gate and not the front door, felt a right wally.
Can get out the back way but the gate blows open in the wind and the dog would get out . Bit of an inconvenience to put it lightly. I need to get some food in and get to the Post Office. If I can't do that tomorrow it will be another NSD, I'm hoping it will be a spend day!Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Katenut - good luck with your wedding, hope you have a fab day!!
Keiss - maybe you're right, i'll stick to the scarf & long sleeved top!! :rotfl:
I am so cross i spent today, i didn't even want to, but the girl driving the pool car that took me to my meeting today decided we'd go for a drink before we set off back, so my choice was buy a drink or pay to get home (& not get expenses because the car was available), so i had had to stay for a drink
I've been really sensible & cancelled drinks tomorrow though as was going out with a friend who never has any money, so i always end up buying & he drinks the most expensive thing he can!!! I'll have to pay bus fare to get to my training tomorrow but as i can claim that back i've decided not to count it as a spend, so have everything crossed i will be able to declare something positive tomorrow!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -

Well done to:
missylaney: well done for no 9 :j- only one more to go... Isn’t it strange how we take a bag/purse/wallet everywhere with us out of habit - must be like a child’s security blanket or something..
chris81418: doing great now, well done for no 12:j - keep going, you can get there...
You’re going to have to fight jintyb for the banana hat though and, by the sounds of it, she can get a bit vicious after a couple of babychams;)....
Nottoobadyet: told you I wouldn’t forget you;).... well done for no 9:j - you’re doing brilliantly!! Fingers crossed for some more over the weekend, hope you enjoy the work do and the birthday party.

LadyfromVenice: well done for no 16 :j- you’re doing fantastically. Isn’t taking the handle off your front door a bit drastic though!!:p Hope it gets fixed tomorrow and you can escape again
CraigLoans: well done, you’re on a roll now, up to no 8.:j Fingers crossed for another two over the weekend - nearly there then!!:)
thrifty fifty: another one with NSDs rolling in now - well done for no 6.:j Well over halfway now, keep going:)..
And hello to everyone else:
positivelypurple: :wave:hi, good to see you again. You can’t turn your back on this thread for long - too much happening.;) Fingers crossed you managed an NSD today, you’re doing well though!
Dorastar: a little spend is allowed - and especially if it’s encouraging dd to read more - all in favour of that.:) Happy book choosing!

anonymoose: oh dear to milk and pizza,:( but only one more to get, keeping my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow:).. And yeah, the hats are great!!
BDINI: :(oh dear to being forced into buying a drink - that’s not on!! Very sensible to cancel tomorrow though - some people just take advantage all the time - not good.:( Hope the training goes OK tomorrow and fingers crossed for an NSD for you.:)
No NSD for me either today:( - grocery shopping:(:(, but stayed within my budget, so happy about that.:)
Off to do my usual update, see you all tomorrow:)

Morning! Just spent a little time updating my spending diary and noticed that I've actually had 12 NSDs this month. Clearly missed reporting one in! :rotfl: Anyway, very pleased with myself.
Three more to find next week. Diary is filling up though so will have to be very creative to find 3 days that require no monetary input
Have a great Friday everyone - our weekend has already started so we're off to do something fun this morning

Hi everyone,
It's Friday!!! :j
Stuck to my small spend day yesterday, though I lashed out £2.99 on a bunch of flowers. I love to have flowers, they really cheer me up!
I'm going for another NSD today as I dont need anything and Im trying to conserve what money I've got. This week there are no wages from OH being off sick last week so its a bum-clencher moneywise, but we'll do it!!
Tomorrow is takeaway night, so no NSD there but Im hopeful for Sunday;)
Today is housework and knitting. On to my fifth kids hat now so Im getting more confident. I've discovered that they are going to an orphanage in Romania for the kiddies for winter, so its all good:j
Have a lovely day everyone, and for all you English folks - Happy St.George's Day!
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -
Can you put me down for 1 today please?
I have no money in my purse, can't think of anything we need and I finish my shift in 15 mins so I'll be off home to bed... can't spend anything there can I?!:p
Thanks jintyb :beer:Proud to be dealing with my debts - LBM Mar 2010

Yesterday took me up to NSD number 13 - today will be a spend day however as off to the pub with colleagues this afternoon, and then out for a friends b'day this evening.I think Chris would look good in the nana hat, particularly if the skid lid stays on too. Perhaps we should all consider wearing edible titfers, to multi-task on the day. We wouldn't have to worry about falling blood sugars while the photos are being taken & would have something to nibble on while the Happy Couple are signing the register :T
Good idea BigMumma! Found this for you to wear if you want to ride pillion.:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:
