Yikes LfV, it doesn't sound like you had a fun weekend! 24 hour viruses are bad enough but falling at the weekend! That's just evil!

I have managed 2 whole NSDs in a row :j. I think that might be the first time I've managed that this month! So it's 8 down, 2 to go! Got a couple of mystery shops in town tomorrow, so I must remeber to steer myself away from tempatation! As Tuesday will be a spend day as I've a waxing appointment . Though it's raining here now so I think that's Glasgow's summer all by! (Sun dances needed for the 30th every-one!)

Evening campers :D Afraid I have slipped massively this month, not sure if I am going to make the 15 I put down. My fault I know but I didn't realise how many actual days I would be spending money..lol. But I did enjoy some of those days as I spent money on myself and the garden, so that counts for something doesn't it :D

I have done 10 NSD's so far and I hoping that in the 7 days I can make the 5 remaining days, although I do have to go to the local farm to get some eggs, and some petrol - not included though!!!

Well done to those that managed to keep to their targets :D And commisserations to those that slipped up like me, there's always next month - well that is what I am telling myself..lol:rotfl:

At least spending on DIY and gardening is an investment rather than just frittering money away, that’s the positive side to it. Hope your planting/sowing went well today - and love that smiley:)

slowlyfading: still plenty of potential NSDs left and you’ve only got 2 more to go... don’t give up yet, you’ll get there:D
Dorastar: yes, the reason we all go to work is so that we can’t get to the shops - there has to be some rationale for being at work all day.:)
Fingers crossed that you can make your target tomorrow and well done for a low spend day today:T
Keiss 21: I think taking your nail to the hospital is probably wise, tbh, hope they manage to sort it out for you. :)
Oh dear to the Lu****de episode today, but well done to DH for getting the own brand version:)

Except for those of us who work IN the shops..... for me, it's a day off work that's more likely to end up as an NSD :rotfl: Probably wouldn't be as bad if I didn't work in a food shop, but there again it does mean I'm sometimes "on the spot" for the Whoopsies ;)

Hey Spoon, thanks for your kind words, yes, I had a bit of a downer this weekend, it's not like me, really! Have given myself a good talking to and I feel more like myself today! I was focussing on the negative and not the many positive blessings I have in my life!:j
Re: the knitting - my next project is a sleeveless long cardi. Im just waiting for the wool to arrive! This will be the first biggie, but its on chunky wool and an "easy - knit" pattern so I'm optimistic!:rotfl: Plus, I've got my lovely Mum nearby to help She is a beautiful knitter.:)

Morning to everyone else - sounds like you are all smashing your targets!
Sorry to hear about all the "nail" issues - even though they make me squirm! Keiss - get thee to the MIU !!!!! That sounds SO sore!
Oh, meant to mention - had another NSD yesterday so thats 14!! As I said, I'm going for 4 in a row so one down three to go. Should be one today though, no spends planned or needed, just going to the library!
Tonight our IFA is coming to get us signed up for income protection insurance. I'm not going through another week like this without wages, and for £30 a month it's well worth it for the peace of mind!

Have a lovely day everyone and hugs to those that need one and even if you dont, have one anyway!!:A

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • Aliens kicked in again, reached my target to-day so am declaring before I can spend anything anywhere. Yahoo!!!!

    Well done:j

I've found you a special smiley in recognition of all the hard work your aliens do 2.gif

Morning all  i missed you this weekend!!

I have decided that bus fare for essential journeys is not going to count as a spend so i am pleased to report that yesterday was NSD 10!!!

Normally i would have used a weekend at home as an excuse to buy groceries & then decide that i was too tired from travelling to use them & order a takeaway, however this weekend i didn't, had to spend Saturday, but not a penny other than bus fare yesterday, used what i had in the house, i reckon thats due to the good influence of the peeps on here!!!! :T :T

Hope LFV is feeling much better today & Keiss, good luck getting your toe sorted, sounds very painful, sending you both a big :grouphug: and :kisses3:

I'd like him to stand in the queue for the LOO PDD :p I'm so sad that I actually enjoy watching the 'Grumpy Old..' programmes & find myself nodding furiously in agreement :o
It seems the Wedding has taken its toll this week-end, but I guess it serves us right for inviting ourselves at the last minute sad3.gif We're a lot better prepared for Friday tho, so let's hope everyone will be fighting fit & raring to go :D

I know I had planned to stay oop norf, but the park was closed when I went to lay out my sleeping bag  so I'll be after a hitchie again if anyone's got a spare seat. Shame the coach didn't pan out--wonder if Cliff still has that bus he uses for his holidays

Can you add a-nuffa wun on my total please Spoon? Ta x
