bought valance for Ds's bed
put on bed
stood back - colour fine BUT valance not deep enough
removed from bed and folded carefully
retrieved all packaging ready to return (I asked if I could return it if it didn't suit)
*sigh*
I do have a new breadbin though - the one being replaced is over 20 years old and exH bought it with the GF he lived with before he met me :eek:

I really need to get back into my flying but I keep concentrating on the housework that I need to do rather than following the list that's put up only because I have so,so much de-cluttering to do! I hope that's ok? I will however, try and concentrate on Level 1 on top of my de-cluttering (Also have visitors in and out from tomorrow onwards :eek: )
Ooh but I did have a lovely night with my girls planning my hen weekend
Ok gotta get to it - don't know what to do first but must choose something and shift my butt into it,lol!

Legbars I think he said. I know he paid a lot for them compared to my girls. We are down to two and really need to get more - have you seen how much free range eggs are :eek:.

Lots of veggies chopped up (rather than putting them in the fridge to rot quietly) and mixed with millet & quinoa. Now in the oven cooking together with my supper, so I'll be able to freeze it and use it for stuffed peppers etc.

I'm very jealous of all of you with chickens... but I really don't have the space - and more importantly the time

hex - have you thought about supplementing your two with ex-battery hens? I know my aunt always has a few along with her bantams. They don't last long, but they are usually very productive and appreciate the change in lifestyle...
